Entertaining

Everytime we go out... it's always to a pub and I get annoyed at this. As a person who hasn't drunk alcohol for years... to be completely sober amongst drunks is really a "Sobering" thought and I do it. I'm not a B.O.F (Boring Old Fart) but has anyone any suggestions?

we will have a treasure hunt the treasure will be everything that that they would need to put together a pirate costume (from the dollar store) then we will have a ballon sward fight with teams that will have red and black baloon swards (i learned how to make at another party because my son's kept poping his and the "Fairy" got sick of making new ones. then there will be presents then cake last the cake will be made by a friends mother who owns a cake a making business it will be a pirate ship. Any suggestions on how to make this the party of the Year? its only2 hrs this weekend and we have small budget

I am throwing a friend of mine her bridal shower and inviting people from work. At first she wanted me to but then changed her mind because she didn't want people spending more money than they had to. Finally I convinced her to have a "Get together" at a restaurant and just have dinner with a few friends from work. I want to make it special but I really have little money to work with and VERY LITTLE TIME... it's on Friday. (Yea... extremely last minute but that's how we work !) Her colors for the wedding are pink and gold. Any ideas on decoration? Favors? I'm having the restaurant make the cake and I'm paying for that.
