What kind of food do I ask people to bring for a potluck?

This is what I have so far:

Cheese pizza
Pie
Dinner entreé of your choice
Fruit tray
Macaroni and cheese dish
Potato Salad
Drinks
Ice cream
Paper plates
plastic cups
Plastic forks
Napkins

Anything else??

The whole point of a "pot luck" is to have your guests bring whatever they want.
You could let them know what you have already, and let them decided what is needed. Many guests would appreciate a little help, though. You might suggest that a certain guest bring a main dish, side dish, dessert, or drink, etc.

Mini Burritos
Taquitos
Chips & Salsa & Guacamole
Ravioli in sauce
Onion Rings
Fried Zucchini
Fish/Chicken Fingers
Various kinds of Dips & bread
Pig-in-a-blanket?
Mixed salad
Fruit Salad with nice chunks of fruit
Small pastries
Pies - you name it
Backlava
Cookie varieties

and there's nothing wrong with SUSHI. Can be expensive, but excellent finger food!

don't tell people what to bring just inform them of what is already being brought so that you don't get 15 people bringing pizza to the meal. sounds like you have most stuff covered I would bring Roast beef, or Ham to get some kind of meat out there.
