About a month ago I had a bad experience involving way too much throwing up and passing out drinking vodka, and now I find it hard to stomach the taste of hard alcohol. I'm just wondering what you guys think is the best beverage to mix with hard liquor to cover up the taste as much as possible, until I can get used to the flavor again. If you can think of any hard alcohol which doesn't have as strong a flavor which I could drink easily then that would work too, thanks.

I 'm being hounded by some co-workers to drink this can of beer that has been sitting in their office since 1993.
Beer and me go way back. -but as of recently we've split ties.
We don't see each other as much lately and I'm usually left with a headache instead of any kind of a buzz now a days.
To drink a tall boy from 1993 would mean a whole lot to me.
I started my senior year of high school that year.
It would be like a trip back into time.
I broke my leg at the end of 1993.
Maybe if I drink that beer I can take back my 1994 - 'the year of the cast.'

p.s capirotada is like a mexican bread pudding..the day old bread is soaked in a sugary syrup then topped with walnuts and raisins and a flavorless cheese.

I've read that it's illegal but heard that it's legal. Which is it? I want to try it, and I'm not going to settle for the fake stuff.

Right now I'm working as security at a bar in Pittsburgh. I want to open up my own place eventually and want to learn what I can. I meet the age limit and am very willing to learn. But searching the web, I found websites with tons of mixed drinks on it. Do I really need to learn all these drinks, or just a few basics? Or would I have a recipe guide on hand? I understand that some nights may be awesome and some would turn out making no money at all, but it's sort of a learning experience.

So what should I do about bartending school?

We keep our Bailey's in the refrigerator, but yesterday it curdled when we added hot coffee to the glass. Anyone have any answers? Can Bailey's go bad or sour? Should we not stir or shake it?

I am pretty sure this is not the correct spelling for it....
but it is pronouced as I spell it.........

Key cal....... its German the pronoucation of it.

Grandma was from Germany.....

When she made bread she always took some dough and cut it mostly into triangles and then deep fried it and then put sugar on it.

Does anyone speak German and know any thing about German cooking...... Has anyone ever heard of it?

is there a German Cookbook with it in the book?

Thanks to all ...... Carol in OHIO

not to excess mind you, but enough to get a bit of a buzz.
i don't drink much spirits at all, 99% of the time i'm happy with diet pepsi or diet coke, whatever is handy.
so, why on earth do these good people harass me about 'so much caffeine'? i don't get it.
i drink decaf coffee and decaf tea, but prefer my pop with caffeine.
my questions is not terribly important, i'm just wondering what their logic is.......they never seem to get past the
'caffeine' theory.
so..........tell me what you think they are thinking?
