Hey...its possible im having a friend over tomorrow while my parents are out and we'll be smoking cigars. People in my house smoke cigarettes. So I'm wondering if I have to do anything to hide the smell...What are good ways to hide the distinct smells cigars give off?

I totaly disagree with anyone that says premium cigars will go unnoticed in a cigarette smokers house. The lighter the cigar the less smell will have to be dealt with, but if you are smoking a 60 gauge double ligero (la flor domincana) good luck taking care of the smell.

I suggest if you wanna do it right you can buy a candle that eliminates cigar odors, available at most smoke shops. If you don't wanna do that make sure the windows are open and you have a fan directing the smoke outside. Afterwards light some candles and break out the axe and or febreeze

Matt P is right, smoke from good cigars most likely won't be noticed in a house of smokers; unless you get something enfused with a flavor. You will need to wash your clothes and if you don't shower before bed that night, your sheets will smell too.

I would strongly suggest smoking them outside. Also, don't "inhale" cigar smoke, just take it into your mouth - taste - puff it out. You will feel NASTY if you inhale cigar smoke and you will have wasted a good cigar.

When you are at a cigar store, tell them if it's your first, they will have suggestions on what cigars to get and which ones to avoid.

The better Cigars don't have that nasty pong that most people associate with stogies. If there are cigarette smokers in the house, a good cigar would go unnoticed.

As for the cheaper ones, they lie. They are really just big crappy cigarettes. The wrapper is made from paper that is just the waste shavings off the maker's floor.

I'd suggest going to a real cigar shop, and spend the money you would waste on a lot of crappy ones on a few real ones. You'll be happier.

that's pretty tough to do...and not the best idea if you're underage. you could open all the windows and burn a bunch of popcorn to overpower the smell if you're really desperate though.

It smells gross, but it works. Boil white vinegar and open the windows.
