i am 15 yrs old, and when i drank vodka or whatever, it's nasty. how can people drink that?

The answer for the ages......Because people are stupid, want to forget the past, want to feel no pain, want to experience life and its mysteries, want to just get high, want to be one of the gang, think they'll only have one, have an alcoholic addiction, or
everyone in their family drank, it's only wine or beer; what can it hurt etc.etc.
For everyone who takes a drink there is a new reason why
If you found it nasty then you are lucky. Don't test yourself again/

Honey, plz don't ever do that again, so you won't find out. I've been down that terrible road and you don't want to travel it. I used to wonder the same thing, then slowly, throughout a lifetime, I found that one day you can't live without, at least you think you can't and so it goes down so easy you wonldn't believe it. And then, it's on. If I can spare one soul from that, it will have been worth it. You have no idea what you are dealing with. Seems fun, a little dangerous, everyone's doing it so you do it too. Trust me, just don't. Just because you don't like the taste doesn't mean you couldn't become an alcoholic. I know very few who say they actually like the taste. I myself always hated it. Sometimes had to hold my nose to drink it. Don't go there, plz. It is a terrible way to waste a life.

Livers are bad and need to be pushed. 15? That's when I started, wait until you're older. I'm 19, but it's legal where I'm at though. Personally I drink just to get a little buzzed, have a good time, and release all the stress from the work week. I like the taste of some stuff. If I dont like the taste I dont drink it.

True, it does taste nasty. But many drink for the effect, not the taste. There are alcohols that taste better than vodka. Kaluha tastes like coffee, amaretto tastes like Dr. Pepper/cough syrup, and mixed drinks are good too. But most of all, remember to drink moderately. Peace.

Alcohol is an aquired taste. Also, as you get older and life just seems to kick you in the ***, people turn to alcohol to temporarily forget the pain. Or theyll drink it to have fun at parties, get stupid and what not. most people dont drink it for the taste.

tastes change. Many go from liking milk, to liking wine. As for me. I like both (and am 35).
It's probably not a bad thing to never drink. Life will be cheaper if you just drink water and milk.

Most people have mixed drinks. lol i've drank vodka straight and that stuff is nasty. but you've never had nasty till you've had corn whiskey straight.

people who drink just do it cuz they have nothing better to do with their life or they r trying to avoid living it. and they usually ignore the taste. believe me my neighbor's r alcoholics.
