I don't want to go to rehab. I don't want to go to AA. I just want to cut back on my own will. Any suggestions?

I have a six of Strumer Pils in my fridge. I opened one and it tasted skunky, as if it were lightstruck. Are pilsners supposed to taste this way, or is my beer really lightstruck?

Wouldn't the oldest be the best? It's been around the longest! I take mine on the rocks, no soda or tonic, with a twist, please!

I am looking into getting my husband some nice cigars for his birthday. I want to spend about $50.00 US since I am getting in A LOT of other stuff...does anyone know a cigar maker or company I can order them from off the internet?
Plus, what makes a "good" cigar?
Thanks for the help....

Maybe a glass or claret ...
or some Drambuie ... or
cognac .... or something
like Dubonnet Rouge ..
of mulled wine....

...it is so cold and snowy here that
I am hoping for something warming..

Maybe some Irish Coffee?

Please recommend one red and one white. Very good quality, reasonable price. Not necessarily the best known but the best tasting. Something excellent and unknown would be great.
And:
Where can I get it?
How many bottles do I need for 40 people when wine is the primary beverage? (wine and appetizers only) The crowd is comprised of very light drinkers.

I am cooking my husband a wonderful dinner tonight with steak and mashed potatoes and I am trying to pick out a wine to go with our dinner tonight. What is a good white wine that my husband might like because he isn't very big on wines and I don't like red wines.

With global warming seeming to be a certainty over the next 50 years, do you think that traditional wine regions like Bordeaux and Burgundy will just allow their wines to change as the climate changes (eg Bordeaux producing blockbuster Napa style cabs every year) or will wine makers alter their vineyard management and clone selection to try and retain a more elegant style?

I'm looking for a pub trivia night in Houston, TX (or somewhere close). I love the Flying Saucer on Tuesdays... but I was looking for some other places to check out too.

Thanks,
Kate
