if i only had starbucks to chose, their cafe verona is their best brewed coffee. Of the ones that are just plain disgusting are the Yukon, Kenya, and french roast. If those are on the menu, I pick the mild coffee of the day.
Coffee is not their strong suit, coffee drinks are their specialty.
I usually buy my coffee beans/grounds from Peet's and prefer their Arabian Mocha Sanani.

Starbucks coffee over roast their beans and cares more about making money than the rich history of the coffee.
Do as I do and as many of my friends do, find yourself a good organic coffee house and try some organic coffee. My favorite organic coffee is Nicca it is a full body coffee naturally sweet and suculant in flavor and taste.

Sorry, but your question has launched me into a paroxysm of ranting and drooling.
Who really believes that Starbucks make good coffee. If you just raised your hand, it's time for a dose of viagra and a trip into the hall of mirrors to have a good, hard, fu%#ing look at yourself. They don't!! It's simple, they just don't. At best you may get a watered down version of a dilute imitation of a faded facsimile of the urine of someone who once had a real coffee.
Wake up to yourselves, people. Discover flavour. Look beyond the swill the some corporate type, and his poncy advertising team, tells you to consume.
And that goes double for anyone who is drinking Fosters/Bud/Carling or any other similar crap!!!

I get the Ethiopia Sidamo (and have then grind it before I leave; I own a grinder but I'm lazy). That is in terms of what they always carry, however, sometimes they also have some temporary items under the "black apron" moniker that are quite good. So you have to go in (or check the website) regularly if you don't want to miss out.

I think Starbucks over roasts their coffee.
Peet's and Caribou are much better in my opinion
