I am going to Egypt, but i wanted to stop over in europe for 1-3 weeks. I was thinking of getting a flight on swiss air that goes to egypt with a layover in switzerland.

Would they let me spend 2-3 weeks in Switz before going on to Egypt? Is there some kind of charge? and also, would it be possible to have an open ended ticket where i just call a few days in advance to book the flight to egypt?

What Scotch to get for a baby?

I'm an Uncle as of today!!!! I want to get my nephue a bottle of scotch today that I will give to him on his 21st B-Day. So I want something that was made this year and will be fantastic by the time it hits 21 years. What should I get??

What happened to Jack Daniel's during Prohibition?!?

Jack Daniel's famous No.7 brand famously claims to have been 'made and mellowed' in Tenessee since 1866. Does this include the 13 years of prohibiton in the 1920's and 30's?

I think the law stated that the manufacture and transportation of alcohol was illegal, rather than its consumption....

I am going on a cruise and our champagne options are Korbel Brut (California) and a Mumm's Cordon Rouge, Brut. It's a special occassion so I'd like to have the best one.

Wine Question?

Whenever I see these articles or shows about wine they always refer to the wine as having a particular flavour like fruity , nutty or smooth. Now I for some reason just taste alcohol. Now my question is do I have a low tolerence for it or are my tasebuds just too picky. Can you learn to appreciate different wine flavours or is it just something you can do?

Help me make a mixed drink?

OK, so in my kitchen I have a bottle of Rasberry flavored Vodka,
a bottle of blue coroca, a bottle of sweet and sour, some Sprite, ice....how much (like 1 shot of ____, 1/2 parts ___) of each ingredient could I put together to make a good drink? Also, you can leave out ingredients if they seem unessesary.....

Where can I find a list ranking the world's wines - in order of popularity?

I'm looking for a list, sorted by volume of wine consumed - with the most recent statistics possible. It could be for a particular region -- such as the U.S., etc.

Something like this:

Worldwide (or U.S., or Australian, etc.) Wine Consumption
