Using a ratio of 1 part vodka to 3 parts juice/mix:
about 23 proof.

I tried it waaay back in the day. Never worked, obviously since I'm not dead of strangulation. I got a bunch of my friends as well as my brothers to do it and they're all alive and well. None of them saw anything freaky in the mirror or whatever. But it was fun watching them be scared. =)

Using 1oz or 30mls of Vodka, your drink should work out to be about 5% give or take a %.

1.5 ounces of 80 proof (40%) alcohol in an 8 ounce drink.
Do the math.

(1.5/8)*40%= 7.5%
