Beer, Wine & Spirits - October 2006

i want to see if i can go a week with out drinking, i have been drinking for a very long time and it' s an everyday thing. it is hard because all of my friends and family drink and so i do because it is there! i know I'm not a alcoholic but i want to find something better to do with my time other then party and get drunk. what is the ez way to keep me busy and from drinking but not make it look like I'm ditching everyone?

I found an opened bottle of Grand Marnier Liquor and don't know how old it is exactly... best guess 2-3 years. I didn't think alcohol could go bad... what's the best rule of thumb? For any liquor, too, would be great!!! Thank you!

Hello,

I have an old whiskey bottle. It used to have a cork but it is long gone. I have a new cork in the bottle but it doesn't fit right.

I have cut it down but I don't want to go to far and make it loose. Is there anyway that I can get a tight fit?

I've heard something about boiling it and putting it in the bottle while it's hot. This will resize it and make it tight. Will this work and if so, would I have to heat it everytime?

Does anyone out there know what I can do with my cork? (open for a cheap shot right about here lol). But for real, any answers out there?

Does the whiskey evaporate if it isn't sealed real tight?
