A relative has tested positive for alcohol but swears she hasnt drank alcohol. Im wondering if anything else you might consume or use could give you positive results, besides actually drinking alcohol?

I love the vodka sours in Vegas. Especially at the Plaza, Vegas Club, Sahara, and MGM. I live in the Midwest and have tried every sour mix I can find, but they don't compare to Vegas. How can I find out what they use? I'd love to enjoy a few Vegas drinks between visits.

I quit doing drugs just two weeks ago, Im only 19 but I have a fake ID so getting it is no problem. Everytime I drive by a liquor store I just wanna go get a 40 or somethin. I drink 10-20 beers 1-3 times every weekend. I like to get buzzed but not drunk, I hate being smashed. I have the ability to control myself but I constantly think about drinking. My parents say my we have a history of alcoholism in my family even though they only drank a few times in high school. When I used to smoke weed I never thought about drinking. But Im trying to put that behind me because my family found out and freaked out about it plus Im trying to get into college and get a better job. I dont plan on quitting for good but it will never be a regular thing like it was. Im just worried I might be on a bad path that I dont want to go down, I dont want to stop drinking, Ive always been responsible with it, I never drink and drive. I guess I just feel dull unless Ive got a few in me, makes me more friendly

Long story short ... my husband is an alcoholic, he says he's not of course, but he is (he's in the other room puking right now).

I've begged him to get help, if not for himself, for our infant daughter. But he flat out refuses. So my question is: Can I go to an AA meeting and get advice or help? Or does HE have to be the one to go?

when people tell stories on being drunk! People automatically say ur an alcoholic and need AA? I drink ocasionally and have been called an alcoholic! Whats the deal with that? I have been drunk to the point of stripping, and everyone assumed i was an alcoholic! Why do people say that? Drinkin once in a while dont hurt, well as long as u dont drink and drive!

I have checked the process of making apple vinegar, and I have never come accross anyone saying that I could get an alcoholic beverage. Instead, every website assumes that fermenting apple juice will result in apple vinegar, and what about corn wort? Can I still make corn vinegar without making ethyl alcohol during the process of making corn vinegar? Thanks for your answers....

I'm a bourbon man myself, got a fondness for Jim Beam. I take it in double shot-fulls, thank you, with no need for ice. Why mess with perfection? Used to know a gal who liked Everclear and matches. She'd take a shot, light it up and swill it down flaming. She'd do 8 or 9 a night, said she liked the citrusy-charcoal flavour going down. We called her Asbestos Annie.

What about you? And none of those namby-pamby beer guzzling, wine-swilling, mixed-drink-froufrou-umbrella & fruit-drinkers, either. If its sweet, frothy, foamy, creamy, winey, or cute, keep it to yourself!
