A relative has tested positive for alcohol but swears she hasnt drank alcohol. Im wondering if anything else you might consume or use could give you positive results, besides actually drinking alcohol?

Some cough medicines have an alcohol content but they'd have to drink darn near the whole bottle to do register on a breathalyzer test.

Mouth wash has alcohol in it but, I don't think you could test positive, some cough medicines also have alcohol in it too!

nitequil and dayquil...any types of medicing like that have some in them...not enough prolly to make u illegal to drive unless u down the whole bottle

mouthwash....if she drank a little by accident...if this is a dui test.......she drank alcohol...
