Beer, Wine & Spirits - September 2006

how can i make wine in very easy way i mean without using yeast and all that commercial equipment that these websites try to make me buy , i remember one of my friends made wine with just grapes and a jar.. ? any ideas?

I am throwing a party and would like to get some cheap wine. I don't really drink wine so I need some help. I see the grocery ads here in San Diego and I see all kinds of cheap wine. I also go to CostCo and see all kinds. What 3-4 kinds of wine should I get? And if even I can get a certain wine maker would be really helpful too! Thanks in advance

and i really need a drink, but the dr told me not to have acohol while on the meds. but have had a week from hell and i really really want a drink...could i skip my meds for the night?

I know I'm asking this the wrong way around, but as it is I have a decent amount of spirits ready, a wish to get absolutely sloshed, but it'd be a shame to waste a fine whsiky on that. I do have blended whiskies, wodka, Baileys, beers, wine, gin, port, .. Well you name it. Please just tell me what goes with the otherwise usueless bottle of see-through sparkle?

I frequent this bar often. This is one of the first few times I have seen this particular bartender though. Actually, my tip wasn't that bad. It is never that bad. I am a 20% tipper. I can't help it if the folks around me want to spoil her and give her hefty tips to make mine look like crap. as she was ringing up my debit purchase she looked down and said real lodly, "I am disappointed in you!" Then she said to the person next to me (who really really over tipped her in my opinion), "You need to teach this guy how to tip." I believe she made another comment before I left. I was surprised that a bartender would do that. I don't think she was joking. I was at 20%!!! Like always. Do you think it was her place to make those kind of comments? Especially about a loyal customer of the bar?

Needs to know the guidelines on selling this products after i brew it. remember this is NOT drinking beer it's a COOKING beer.... I've been working on a few ideas and there turning out great... Just need to know a little more info.... After i put these spices and other recipes in the brew is it still conciderd beer or a sauce with beer in it ?????? This question is real important........ I`ve expierimented in making wine out of fruit and sugar and yeast and I`ve noticed sometimes it seems to have a much higher content of alchohol then other times. How can I make this stuff really strong. (like I`m trying to paralyze a moose or something)
