no, try not to you are not supposed to stop taking amoxillion until it is all gone. alcohol will kill the effects. hold out a few more days then you can drink all you want. good luck. if it helps any I'll drink one for you.lol

Aaah, that would be a no!! The doctor said no for a reason, some antibiotics are used to help alcoholics detox and it could make you really sick if you were to drink and if you skip them you still have the antibiotics in your system. So, take your pills and get well soon, then you can go out and party yer pants off.

Drinking alcohol while on antibiotics does two things: weakens the power of the drug and amplifies the effects of the alcohol. If you want to have a drink, you will probably be fine. But, don't overdo it because you can get drunk faster while on the meds.

NO,no, no. You will have to start all over again because drinking the alcohol will made the medicine not work for you. Drinking will destroy the effect of the medicine. If you went this long.......why not wait till you finish your medicine and completely well?

Uh...listen to yor doctor after all he has the degree and not you. Also if you skip doses on an antibiotic you can develop a tolerance for it which means next time you need them they may not work. Do as your doctor directed.

I wouldn't advise it...........You need to take it continuously to ensure its getting to your system. Sorry, I do understand how it is to need a drink badly
