It's the birthday of an old, old friend of mine very soon. He's American and we have a running joke about the drink 'WKD Blue' (obnoxious blue vodka based drink that we got hammered on once when he livedin the UK) and I want to buy him a few bottles for his birthday as a joke - but it's a) fragile and b) heavy and obviously very expensive to send via parcel mail from the UK. Can anyone post me a link to a US based company where I can order this drink online? First person to post a viable link gets the points :o)

I have some fast acting yeast for making bread. Does anyone know if this yeast is suitable for making apple wine? Also does anyone have any tips about apple wine making? - I have made wine and beer before, and so the basics are not required. I am looking for some extra hints regarding straining, bottling, mashing, and timing of apple wine fermentation.

I have seen descriptions stating the 100% of the corn is either malted or mouth-saccrified.......I'm using malting to save a lot of time and spit, but as a homebrewer, I know that only 10-20% malt is really necissary for full conversion. (the other 80% might need to be geletinized, and might leave haze, thus requiring fining) Is chicha a "malty" beverage?? or can I use 20% malted corn.......or god forbid barley, and achieve a similar result?
