on a social basis yes ... but to just bust out a 5th no....be conservative not barbaric

Depends on the situation. If you are sitting in church, you might not want to start doing tequila shots, but having a beer or glass of wine with supper or just drinking socially would be fine. Also, I would drink a lot less in front of my folks.

In front of?? NO. Drink WITH. YES.. in moderation. Don't try to be the life of the party when you are hangin' with your folks or the inlaws....

I think it's okay to have 1 or 2 but it is not classy to get drunk in front of your parents, unless they are alcoholics and wouldn't notice.

If others are drinking socially, sure...if the group as a whole do not imbibe, then go with the group.

good? i dunno.. my mom knows when i drink. and she agrees with it. im not a drunkard, okay? i drink on occasion. but my mom tells me that its better that she sees me drinking and i dont hide it from her. that way, she knows when i have enough or too much.
