Hey, if they are old enough to dig coal they are old enough to drink and smoke.

"Minors", of course, is a different story...

If you mean miners - like those guys who mine coal; sure, they are adults ... they can do whatever they want.

If you mean minors - first, you should learn to spell. Second, you shouldn't ask stupid, rhetorical questions, and third - of course they shouldn't be allowed to drink or smoke.

Miners??? You mean people who work in mines???

They should be allowed to do what they please.

If you are talking about minors, (people under the age of consent) then no.... I disagree. There need to be limitations.

Hi there!!!! It is not good or healthy for young people to do so especially since their bodies may not be properly developed yet and this may cause severe harm to them internally and I don't think that they should be given the right to consume alcohol and cigarettes.

No. Miners' lungs are polluted enough and, if you are talking about alcohol, alcohol impairs judgment.

Not on the job... heavy machinery and oxygen lines don't mix with intoxication and open flames.

Or, did you mean MINORS?
