I know I'm asking this the wrong way around, but as it is I have a decent amount of spirits ready, a wish to get absolutely sloshed, but it'd be a shame to waste a fine whsiky on that. I do have blended whiskies, wodka, Baileys, beers, wine, gin, port, .. Well you name it. Please just tell me what goes with the otherwise usueless bottle of see-through sparkle?

I meant whisky, but obviously it's not an easy word to spell when drunk - for that we have ale ;o)

Good one I discovered a few weeks ago:
Take 1 juice glass, add a drop of dark rum (I used "CANE TRADER" dark rum, measured out in the screwcap on it)..... fill rest of glass with the 7-UP (better still, sod the 7-UP and use "D&G Old Jamaica" Ginger Beer instead... in fact that is what I was using the other week, come to think of it).

Alternatively, mix with Beer to make a posh version of the puffs drink "Shandy" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radler

Use rum, preferably Captain Morgan's Rum (Silver). You'll know it's the Silver kind cuz not does it say, but the rum is clear while regular Captain Morgan rum is carmel colored. Captain and Coke is the usual drink, but I've tried it with Sprite and 7up as well and it's great that way too. I noticed you didn't mention rum in your list of spirits.

Definitely Seagrams 7 ("7& 7"). I agree with the above who recommended this.

Vodka and seven makes a refreshing drink, but I wouldn't want to drink enough of those to get totally hosed. If your kidneys will handle it, go for the beer. Otherwise, tequila shooters will get you smashed pretty quickly.
