I love baking for the holidays...I make cookies/brownies/cupcakes for everyone. But, it seems that these days so many people are watching their weight and I want to be supportive of that...so, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of healthy and delicious treats I can make this year instead? I'd really appreciate any ideas/recipes! Thanks!

I am hosting a retirement celebration dinner for our outgoing ED who worked with us for 20 years. We are hiring a professional photographer, but would also like to supply disposable cameras on all tables to obtain candid shots. I am looking for a cute saying, or poem to put onto cards that will accompany the cameras. any ideas?

Is there any definite proof that (specifically) soy burgers and other soy products are safe to eat, no matter what age you are? I've been hearing stories about soy products, but have been buying soy products for years. What is the real truth? What are some good soy- alternatives for vegetarian foods? Thanks

I have been thinking about becoming a vegaterian for a couple of years now but it is really personal after being forced to go into a slaughter house in Costa Rica over the summer while on a school trip.

I have been holding out because I don't like a whole lot of veggies. Can you email me some recipies that you eat on a regular basis so I can try them for a week or two and see how it goes?

Also my family loves having family dinner about twice a week. They know I have problems with most meat (I don't eat meat if it has a bone in it and I try to only eat organic) but how to I tell them that I am a vegetarian? they know I am thinking about it but I don't want my brother (an avid hunter) to make my life miserable. Also I am married and I don't want to force my openions on my husband (he is a great guy and would not be mad at any discision I would make). has anyone else delt with this? I don't want to make two meals every night. How do I ballance all of this? Any help would be great!

When giving out food to neighbors, why is it that you just never seem to get your food storage, tupperware containers back? Even after you have given them their dish back? Neighborly or Not...hmmmm?

I use Gevalia coffee at home and keep my coffeemaker clean but even when I pour a fresh just-brewed cup it doesn't equal the flavor and smoothness of restaurant coffee. I also store my coffee in small amounts in an airtight, opaque container to keep it fresh.

What is the secret? Is it true that restaurants use an additive or flavor enhancer in their coffee to reduce the acid?
