I need a nice main dish to leave in the oven while at my daughter's first communion that will be ready to serve with a salad shortly after returning home. any suggestions?

I have six kids ages, 17 down to 4.. i am a so-so cook, any ideas on what i could make for a family of 8?

I have found chcken 10lbs for 4 dollars and some change, and usually get a bag of potatoes and make mashed potatoes and frozen veggies..fam loves this meal, have done meatlof, hot dogs, spagetti and stew..any new ideas?

breakfast - non fat yogurt w/ some corn flakes in it & some raisins.

lunch - tuna sandwich on oat nut bread, & some carrot sticks.

snack - apple

dinner - salad w/ fat free dressing & some low sodium chicken noodle soup.

was this all good to eat when your on a diet? was it healthy & balanced?

I realize that sodas are bad for you, but is there one soda out there that is considered ok to drink every once in a while? Particularly no sugar or caffeine?

I am trying to eliminate sodas from my diet completely but I'm finding it harder to quit drinking sodas then it was to quit smoking. I thought that maybe starting with sodas that cut out the sugar and caffeine would be a good way to start.
