I am in europe and looked up a banana spice cake online and it calls for 1/4 cup Buttermilk...can I substitute anything for this....I cannot find it. Also it says eggs, seperated but doesn't say use yolks or whites is there a general term to say this and you just know which one? THanks!

in american recipes they use the term 'cup' alot. how much is a cup roughly, i'm guessing around 4oz

Try this ---- Take a can of coke or pepsi (prefereble coke 'cauz itz stronger) and mix it with tobacco (u can get tobacco from.....a cigarette) and then DRINK IT....No bad effects... just the gas inside the coke gets a newbirth...NO HARM IN TRYING!! Try this and see the results.. just take one sip of that mix.... and then see what happens....the gas comes out of your mouth and nose and....***...

I've recently been introduced to quinoa and really like it. Only thing is that other than adding peas, tofu and soya sauce Im not sure what else to do with it!

Im a lacto-ovo vegetarian (meaning I still eat dairy and eggs).

It was a hot day when the horse came in and I was shocked at first because I have never run a pub before."
Mr Dolan, 61, from Jarrow, bought Peggy six years ago and discovered her fondness for the pub when she followed him inside.
