It is my understanding that grocery stores set themselves up, from branch to branch, similarly.

In other words, A&P's everywhere have:
Aisle 1: xxx products
Aisle 2: yyy products
Aisle 3: zzz products

And so on and so forth....

It's a Polish dish and I need to be able to buy the ingredients in the uk. I have followed the recipe from a cooking website but does not quite taste right. I would be greatful if someone Polish could give me their traditional recipe. thanks.

I mean, it's more of a life or death issue, isn't it? If you stay in there too long you come out hard boiled yourself. So surely they have to check, right? Count those little grains of sand one by one?

I promise no more egg timer questions if you give me nice answers! At least no more under cooking.

I mean, it's not as if glass blowing, stretching, twisting, whatever it is they do, is an exact science. Grains of sand are also a wee bit random. So how do they actually figure out how long three minutes is? Do they have a special calibrated sand scoop? Or do they have to manually test each one in a lab as it comes off the production line? And if they do that, why aren't egg timers more expensive?

would they still tell the right time?

would the egg be harder or softer boiled?

let's say anything from a wonky kitchen table (estimate 1:60 slope) to a steep mountain road (say 1:4 slope).
