lol i'm just curious. to be honest with you, i don't like spam meat but i'm not saying nothing bad, i just don't like the taste, but there's alot of people that do like Spam meat. I'm curious, for those who like it, how do you cook your Spam?

I would like to make battered potatotes one night for dinner (I saw them at the San Diego County fair and I have a bad craving for them). How do I go about frying something in a shallow frying pan (because that's what I have)? I don't have (or feel like) investing the money to buy a frying pan just to cook one dish.

does anyone know a decent oatmeal cookie recipe that won't spread or look "funny?" I am look for one that has a texture similar to a chocolate chip. I read somewhere that if you melt the butter and cream it "well" it will keep its texture and won't spread so rapidly. I just need a decent recipe I can test. I have one that's good but I am not to happy with the others that I have. OH! What do you guys think about allspice and cloves used in oatmeal cookies?

Why is it that corporate executives, in their infinite wisdom, will take a product like 7-up that has been around for generations, and change the recipe/formula? I won't purchase any more until it goes back to the original and "snappy" taste and flavor it once had! This new stuff leaves an after-taste in my mouth.

Any ideas on any recipes or sauces or marinades or anything? Because my friends like to throw BBQ's and they like when I come out with something random like my own buffalo wings or ceviche, or a fancy fruitbowl. Nothing lame like a store bought potato salad lol. something impressive maybe? haha but not too complicated, its a kickback with friends.
