pigs in a blanket ........... I love the pilsbury website it has a lot of meal ideas that you can make with your child and usually they are not that expensive to make! My kids love the site too, they can print stuff.

Not food...But a whole lot of fun!! Bathtub Paints

KIDS LOVE THESE!!! So much cheaper and easier than the kind you buy at the store.

1/3 cup mild clear Joy dishwashing soap
1 tablespoon cornstarch
food coloring

Mix cornstarch and liquid soap in bowl.
Pour into ice cube tray, filling about 1/2 full.
Put 4-8 drops of different food coloring colors into each section and mix till blended.
I usually use toothpicks to mix when in the ice cube tray.
Give to the kids and let them at it!
This washes your child, and will wash off the walls too!

Dirt Cups For Kids Recipe

These are truly a hit with the kids, they are great served at birthday parties! They remind me of the "mud pies" we all made as children, except these are edible!

2 cups cold milk
1 package chocolate instant pudding
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (16 ounce) package Oreo cookies (crushed)

8-10 servings

Also need 8 to 10 (7 oz.) Clear plastic Cups.
Decorations: gummy worms, gummy frogs, candy flowers, chopped peanuts.
Pour milk into a large mixing bowl.
Add pudding mix.
Beat with whisk until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Stir in whipped topping and half of the crushed cookies.
Place 1 tablespoon crushed cookies into bottom of cups.
Fill cups 3/4 full with pudding mixture.
Top with remaining crushed cookies.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Decorate with the candy.

I have given this recipe on here loads of times because it so cheap and easy to make and the kids love it (the food and helping cook it!)
Hope it not cheating to repeat recipes!

Omlet in a Bag (keep in mind you only have to use ingredients you like...all my boys eat are ham, eggs and cheese but they do like "helping" chop)

2 eggs (my hubby eats 4)
2 slices ham chopped
chopped onion
chopped jalapeno
slices olives
chopped mushrooms
chopped tomatoes
cheese

Start water boiling in a large pot.
Crack eggs in ziploc freezer bag (gallon for 4 eggs, quart for 2 eggs) seal bag, shake to mix egg. I saute the onion, jalapenos and mushrooms in a little butter. Add all ingredients to bag. Shake again. Add bag(s) to water when it is at a hard boil. 20 min. for 4 eggs, 13 min. for 2 eggs. If all your omlets are different you can write the names on the bag with a permanant marker and it will not come off.
