theres this guy I met at summer program and I asked him for his screename, I IMed him every few days for a month, but I realized that no matter how long I talked to him or how interested he sounded in the conversation, it didn't really matter because he never IMed me first. Because of this, I didn't Im him for about a month and a half because I thought maybe he didn't want to talk to me, but then I saw him a few times at track event and decided to IM him again about 2 weeks ago, and we had a really good conversation and he didn't sound bored at all and was really in to it. what I don't understand is why he still doesn't IM me, I don't think I've been annoying him, I don't IM him that often and its not like he had one word answers and that was it at all. I'm really confused and don't know what to think

I REALLY like this guy, we have one class together, and are what you might call 'old friends'. We've been friends since 8th grade, except in 10th we never saw each other. I'm pretty sure he liked me in 8th grade, but I was too stupid to do anything about it. Now, I still like him, and I think he still likes me. The big problem here is that we're both EXTREMELY shy. The most we muster up is, "Are you ready for the big quiz? etc..." It's awkward, because we used to be so open with each other, and I think what is creating the awkwardness is the romantic tension. I always get myself pumped to talk to him after class, but he almost never leaves his best friend's side, and I'm not about to confide to him about this in front of his friend. I just want some tips on how to get closer to him, maybe spend some time studying or just taking a walk. Any help is appreciated, most informative and helpful gets 10 pts. Thanks so much.

P.S. We're both 17 in 11th grade, and share just the one class.

I'm a bisexual girl and i have a boyfriend who i've been with for 3 years now. He's somewhat abusive to me (doesn't actually hit anymore, just pinches and twists my arms back alot) and he neglects me alot. He's always focused on his cars more than anything.. including me. He's never gotten me flowers or anything unless i've hinted it to him.. and he acts like it's a chore. I'm too wound up in our relationship to let him go though.. i love him. But there's a girl who i've recently met. She's so great, we've only been seeing eachother for a week now and she's already bought me 3 necklaces & a life size teddy bear. She calls me every single night just to say goodnight, and she always makes sure her touch is soft and sweet. I don't think it's right because it's cheating, but i want a break from the relationship i'm in with my guy... and he knows about her. All he's said is he wants a threesome. But it still feels wrong. im currently engaged to my bf of 3 years and it has been wonderful. however, now that we are both working, everytime he comes home during weekends, he is always too tired to make love to me. we only see each other once a week and so its so frustrating coz i miss him so much. he has a hard time getting it up coz he tells me his burned out at work. it really frustrates me. i love him so much but its so disappointing coz we cant have the same intense and passionate love making we use to have. any advice? nothing like breaking up with him or finding someone else coz its not an option.

I am an American man who was a pen-pal with a Filipina for over two months. We e-mailed each other more than 35 times apiece. We talked on the phone and text-messaged each other. We had many differences such as race, religion, and language. It didn't matter because we were in love. We planned to get married in a few months.

Suddenly I stopped loving her. It came on all of a sudden. I realized that it would take lots of time, money and effort to marry her. I would also have to change my lifestyle. There's this guy in one of my classes whose pretty shy. I mean he's awkward & shy but he has a beautiful face & he's very popular. All of the really pretty girls try & flirt with him in class. I've been told by many people that I'm a beautiful girl but at school, I'm certainly not one of the most popular people. Anyways, in class I always feel like he's looking at me when I turn my head (this may be because I like him, but he used to always look at me last year when I passed by him). Whenever he walks by my desk I can almost feel him looking at me & once I looked up & he was. Sometimes I'll turn around & out of the corner of my eye I think I see his head switch the other way. A lot of times, when I actually do catch him looking at me, he either drops the glance quickly, or stares at me for a few seconds & drops the glance. The other day he just came up to my desk & I looked up & he was looking at me & he said, "that's not due today." I said, "what?" he looked up & repeated it.

Theres this guy that i like hes in one of my classes in college and he's always staring at me you know how u can feel someone staring at you that how it is with him. he would even walk past my next class all the time just to make eye contact with me but never talk to me its sooo cute and im starting to get a huge crush on him. There's this guy who is around 22 years old...and we attend master's school together. Thing is, we've never chatted - but the first time he saw me he was staring hard! To the point where I had to look at him to get him to avert his eyes and he looked really embarassed.
