If you have a thing for him, you'll need to let him know. He's probably waiting for the go-ahead from you. Make it obvious. fiddle with your hair a little when you talk to him. That's not always indicative of attraction, but most men think it is. Touch his forearm or hand briefly while talking to him, and let your eyes wander over his face occasionally.

It sounds like things are going well... do you guys flirt? Start doing that.
Maybe try to get him to hold your hand by brushing yours against his or hang out outside of school.

maybe. if he flirts with you then he probably does. if he's strictly platonic then he sees you guys as good friends
