I think it would be considered "that time" in a parents life to have "that talk" with their child.
Their kids. Most kids will do things like this. But now it's in the parents hands to do what parents are suppose to do. And that is teach their children right from wrong.
No, I don't mean to spank or even punish them. But the parents have got to let these children know that this type of behavior is not excepted, and should not be done again.
By the sound of it, they were just being inquisitive.
Should you be surprised? ....A little.
Should you be shocked? ....Yes.
Should you run right to the police and tell them that this 9yo boy just raped a 6yo girl? .... NO!! Take care of it between the parents.

No it's not rape at all, he just needs to be told not to do that, and tell the little girl not to be around your son because he is behaving in a way children shouldn't behave, they are just three years apart, they are still both young kids, they may date when they get older, your son is just being nine and a bit fass, so tell him that little boys dont act that way and dont do it again, but if the little girl dont like it after being told and your son forces her, then you need to get your son help, and tell the little girl mom to get her some help so he dont grow up to be violent towards women, but no I wouldnt say rape if he is not forcing her, and has been taught that its wrong to act that way.

it would be considered "two really young, stupid kids who don't know any better playing doctor". If the 6 year old's parents find out, they may want to have a conversation with the boy's parents to make sure it never happens again! don't worry though, the young lad won't be spending any time in prison!

ummm hard question. I think it's more curiousity than anything. he probably has learned some really bad stuff if he thinks it's okay. the girl probably needs to be talked to and told that that's definitely NOT okay. the boy too; his parents should be told immediately

That's curiosity and natural exploration between children, certainly not rape.
