don't like stupid men? I had a date with this awesome girl... (yes! an actual date) funny, smart, kind... and we talked about everything. At the end of the date I drove her home hoping (but not expecting) to get a good night kiss. When we got to her house, I leaned in to kiss her and she pulled away. She stated that I was "too much of an intelect" for her and that she liked guys who were "less talkative about 'smart' things". She got out and left me sittin there.
I asked some female friends later on and they said that some girls actually LIKE dumb guys or guys that play dumb. I couldn't believe it! Stupid guys get the smart girls. Please tell me this isn't true. I'm intellegent and don't want to be lonely forever because of it.
Are women truly attracted to 'stupid' men?

Im shy and I dont see anything wrong with it.I dont want to change being shy..I love myself this way.Thats just who I am.Im comfortable in my skin. The thing is, I dont understand why some ppl make a big deal about shyness..does it mean that you're not confident?? Is it a bad thing?? As far as im concerned, im not cocky but I sure value myself

I'm a single Hispanic female (mother of one).
I have a good job, I am buying a house, I have a nice car, I'm funny & cool.. well I think I'm a good person. I have NO drama in my life...
So I have no idea why I meet all these guys that are losers!
They have a million kids/baby momma's, they live w/their parents/family, they're bouncing around on jobs, they think they're 21 when they're really 31+...
The list goes on but I'm depressing myself (jk) just thinking about it.

I mean WHERE can you meet a good guy these days, besides online cause not even online is working for me!

...a 28 year old, single male living at home. Women seem turned off by this when this fact per se is irrelevant. I have no need to move away from home. I love living with my family, it's close to work and it keeps me financially well off. I can save money if I decide to move one day, yet at the same time I can spend money on fun things that most people can't afford because they moved out prematurely. I therefore have no need whatsoever to move out, and neither do my other adult siblings. My parents are the biggest supporters of this decision. While most parents kick their kids out then regret it it due to their feeling alone and guilty, my parents can enjoy having the family together. After all, why have such a big house when none of your kids live there anymore? I get so much crap from friends, extended family and coworkers about my family's living arrangements. I also get crap from the aforementioned people because I never date.

Im in high school
and i have yet to have a serious boyfriend.
I have a million guy friends..
and no boyfriend..
I really dont thing i am ever gonna find a person
who loves...or even likes me..
Im not exactly skinny..
and i think that might have something to do with it..
but there is no way im gonna lose weight so someone

He is 19 and all of a sudden started talking to this lil 14 year old girl and called her baby, and hung out with her and played baseball and that and talks to her for hours on the phone. So I broke up with him i am not taking that..But I am 8 weeks pregnant with his baby and I want him to be there and i want to be with him..And I just don't know what to say to get through to him and I don't know what i should do about the girl thing..Cuz there is going to be a whole trust issue thing there.

I've liked this girl for a long time and there's just no way she doesn't know.

Anyway, she called me and asked me for advice with her "friend's" personals ad. She wouldn't tell me which friend it was for or let me see it.

She also recently said that she could date now because it's not against her religion anymore.

I've been waiting for this girl to come around for a long time. I thought it was the religion thing getting in my way, but now I'm starting to wonder.

She also asked for my help with one of her classes, and likes to come to me for advice. I thought that was a good thing until now.

Time to give up??

There's a girl that had heartbrokened me for sevreal months already. The thing was we never went out but i was so close to her as a friend that we she started ignoring me i practicly cried every single day.

I told her how i felt over on facebook(big mistake in my opinion) and she replied me in a unpleasent way. Now I want to talk to her in person about how I really feel.

The thing is I don't know if i should do this and what to really say by calling this time. I was about to talk to her in person on the bus today but I didn't think i was ready yet.

I know this guy through a web chat, he invited me out for dinner after dinner he invited me to see his place and for a couple of drinks.We spend the night togethere sharing each other life stories. He seems to be a gentleman, so I find him pretty boring lol. However from what he share to me, his profession and all about his life really impressed me the down times and how he get through after the tragical married he has from, now he is single again( I can feel his sincerity though). He's an American guy and I am Asian. That actually really surprised me why he never attempt to hold my hands or kiss me either when we are just both alone in his apartment.For some reason I made the first move and give him a sign to do whatever he has in mind.We ended up, having agreat time togethere that night.After the next day, I never bother to message cause I know for a fact that guys are all the same , after they have you then ,they'll forget you. But contrary to what I expect he keeps on calling me.

OK so this guy has a girlfriend and he has been MAD flirting with me!!!! Like its mega obvious that he likes me.... like ten people have told me and i kinda think i like him too but his girlfriend is SORTA my friend and I wouldnt want her to like totally HATE me and he was talking to my other REALLY good friend at school and he said that he didnt really like his girlfriend he was just going out with her as a bet to see how long their relationship could last!!! My boyfriend of 9 months wants to have sex! I respect, love and care for him but im just not ready for sex. I have always wanted to stay a virgin until I’m married and he knows that. Im just stuck on what to say without losing him. We just keep going round in circles, he says the cliché line “if you love me you would” and I say “if you love me you wouldn’t” please if anyone has any advice on how to say no but still show that I love him and want to be with him. we are both adults but i believe that even if you 18 or 80 you have a right to stay virgin until your ready!

Here is my problem I have a boyfriend that I have been with for a year and a half. When we began dating I had just gotten out of a tough relationship where we lived together. My boyfriend and I have been living together for about 3 months, and I have also been talking with my ex who I was with in high school for 3 years. We were on and off after Hish school and now I think I like him again. But I still love my boyfriend alot and still want to be with him.
