In a marriage, why is it ok for the man to have a college education and the wife not have one, when the opposite situation, i.e., the woman having a college education and the husband only having a high school degree would not seem right. I remember my mother telling me this years ago and saying it wouldn't look right when people asked the educated wife what her husband did; I think it's ridiculous. I told my mother that you would actually have to care what people thought for this to bother you. This situation does not affect me as I have already graduated from college, but my brother seems to be running into the problem. His girl recently graduated with a degree in education; my brother needs about another 2 years to get his bachelor's, but he dropped out and doesn't really want to go back, his girl wants him to go finish. Ladies, what do you think.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 3 years and we have a 19 month old son we do plan on being together the rest of our lives but he doesn't ever see us getting married. I have caught my man looking at other girls on the internet 3 or 4 times now. Sometimes it's celebrities and sometimes just regular people. He thinks I'm stupid for getting mad about it but I feel like if I was good enough for him he wouldnt want to do that. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a good long time now. Our relationship started off amazing we got to know each other and we weren't all over each other physical. Our relationship has been great and we have supported each other through many issues. I think we have a strong relationship and that he won't leave me if he gets sex. Recently he and I have gotten increasingly physical. We touch each other alot..down there..we also have cyber and phone sex. We both think we have a mature relationship and we think we're ready for the next step. We love each other very much and he treats me with so much respect. He's truly a dream come true. okay first off- no im not a pervert. im going into highschool this year and i'm curious. because i've heard that most people loose it in highschool, especially after prom.i know its relly private and you definetly don't have to answer. but if you dont want to answer, just move on dont say anything mean please. and if will answer, was it out of love, curiosity, pressure, or something else? do you regret that you did at that time, or do you wish you would have waited? i dont have any sisters, my mom was married when she was 14, and the girls that have had sex at my age, aren't the type that i would take seriosly.not saying that if YOU had sex at 14 you're a bad person, just saying all the girls at my age that have, are very, well, odd. so if you could help me out that'd be great! thanx <3 Dani

It's no special holiday, anniversary, or anthing of that sort... I just want to suprise him with something nice. Just something that really says, I thought about you & I love you.
It doesnt neccisarily have to be a gift, maybe it could be an event, or thought, or something to say. I'm not sure.
I'd just like to do something nice, any suggestions?

I kinda want the equivilant of when a guy brings home flowers for his girlfriend for no specific reason. And it makes you really happy & bubbly. I want whatever I do for him, to have the same kind of effect.

Over the weekend, my girlfriend and I began talking about making love without a condom (BTW; She is on the pill). Before doing this though, we are both going to get checked by a doctor.

During this discussion, she began to ask me about my previous sexual partners and I mentioned the few girlfriends I have had in the past.

She then told me that she was shocked at how late I began having sex and how few people I have had sex with.

Then, after begging me not to think of her as a ‘slut’, she began telling me about her previous relationships. I found what she told me to be nothing short of horrible.

Apparently, she first had sex with her mom’s boyfriend, when she was thirteen, after he told her that, if she didn’t, he would throw both her and her mom onto the streets. From there, she seems to have been taken advantage of by a succession of @ssholes who abused her mentally, physically, and sexually.

I have been seeing a guy that is about 6 years younger than me. He used to be a really good friend of my ex husbands. He comes over in the middle of the night or I go to his place. He tells me he cares about me and that I have a special place with him because we have been friends for so long. I am totally in love with this man but he has other women that he sees all the time.
