so im listening to working class hero by green day right
and it hits me that i dont understand a thing about the war going on.
i dont have an opinion about it, cause i dont know whats going on. whenever i try to get my dad to explain it to me he gives me the same closed minded awnser because he feels a certain way about it. and it still confusses me.

can u guys explain it to me, i want different opinions so i can see everyones side.

Well my life consists of being the quiet one...this leads for me to be not like standing out and not actually asked out. This makes me kinda depressed sometimes and makes me quiet. (So its like a circle) Then my friends takes the spotlight. I just wish I was like notice...and happy that I am. I need to break the chain of me: Sad>Quiet>Noone notice>Sad> This is a full circle. Help with my life please...?

I'm the one to usually give advice, but this time I need it.I have this boyfriend,who's 15. I'm a virgin and 13.he's not. HE'S wanting to change that. He tells me you can't get pregnant the first time.Bullhockey. But I'm going to stay a virgin until I'm married. I'm a girl who's worth waiting for. I told him If he stops pressuring me, we will stay together. But if he doesn't, then it's over. Either way I'm NOT under ANY circumstances having sex. What should I do? Why do people always say that. Its as if New York is the only place to "make it" and if you try to make it elsewhere you wont make it unless you make it in New York first.

There are loads of people who have pursued their careers and ventures in other cities and have mega-success.

Why is it that New York is looked at as the "only place to make it", and if you dont make it here you cant make it nowhere else?

I lived in NY all my life. I'm 44 years old and I'm ready to LEAVE this city and start a life elsewhere. Does this mean I'm running away from the challenges in New York or I'm scared and want to try to make it in a city that's EASIER to "make it"? Does this mean I'm giving up in New York and I wont make it elsewhere?

I love my boyfriend to bits, and until yesterday i was sure he loved me just as much. While he was on a holidya to zante with his mates (him being the only unavaible one) he said that he met a girl out there and they did sleep together.
I was distraught and broke up with him. But he constantantly calls me says he loves me (crys dwn the phone to me, thats always gets me), and tells me it was nothing and that it was just a stupid fling. I love him soooo much buti dont know if i should forgive him....... SOMEONE tell me what to do

A good friend of mine is having a party tomorrow night and wants me to crash at his place. I have work from 10-4:30 tomorrow and could be at his house and such for the party.

Problem is Friday I am working a late night shift from 10:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. Saturday I'm busy with my mother's birthday.

Is it worth it to stay at the party or should I just come home and sleep?

does the truth hurt that much that you can't face up to it?

i posted a couple of Q saying women nag their men and are constantly needy and another one which said women shouldn't tell men they don't usually sleep with guys on the first date when they obviously do (see the posts for more details)

i'm not aginst my own sex, it's just that i'm not afraid to tell it like i see it. the truth don't hurt me but it obviously hit a sore point with some of the girls who answered my questions, hence their bad reactions.........

so, girls, chill and drop the needy act. you know you do it so 'fess up and admit i'm right.

First of all, I've never had a girlfriend, and I'm going off to college, so I need help answering these two questions.

Everyone out there says "be yourself" when it comes to interacting with girls. The problem is...if I have to "be myself," then she's probably not going to like it. I'm not bad-looking, and I'm extremely intelligent, but I am usually VERY serious. I understand that girls like a guy who makes them laugh...and I don't make people laugh, and I rarely laugh myself (I'm not depressed or anything, I am perfectly content with life). What's your advice?

Secondly, I would describe myself as a "nice guy." I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or do anything dishonest, and I believe in total purity before marriage. The problem is, I'm looking for a girl who would feel the same way--someone who has a very rigid moral code and basically never does anything wrong. Am I doomed from the start? (By the way I am Christian. But many Christian girls are very hypocritical...)

There have been several questions asked about..Do woman read Playgirl magazine.
The most common answer is that alot of women have looked at it, but found it to just be a lousy magazine.
So the question is, if their was a magazine that had a content that women liked say Cosmopolitan or Redbook or other popular magazines, and had pictures of naked men in it.Would you read it? Or is the naked male thing just not going to work?
