Singles & Dating - 12 July 2007

so. my boyfriend and i have been on and off for about a year and there wasnt one moment he wasnt complaing about having money problmes. I always dealt with it because i didnt care, paid for myself and somtimes hime and let it be because i mean , this is the 21st century!

but this summer he has been working over time (65 hours) at a job he makes 12$ an hour. And he is getting a larger scholarship for his grades at school (10,000$ more) he is living with a roommate that said his roommate would pay 800 if he could pay 400$ a month. All this summer when we go out my boyfriends brother will tag along with his friends, and everytime his brother picks up the bill for my bf and him. and sometimes me as well. He never pays me back for gas when he uses my car and flips out if he has to drive to my place to see me using his gas.

What the hell is his deal. What do i do? The love is def. there. Our relationship is great its just if we get any more serious money is going to be a big deal.....

Last night I had a dream about this guy I dated along time ago, in my dream he got in contact with me and we were hanging out and catching up on old times when in my dream we were hanging all over each other and my friend katie was joking aro und and told us that we should jus go out and we both said that we're not together we're just having a lil fun with each other and than she told us that we act l ike we do. any ways in real life i've been talking to him and he asked me to ahn gout wtih him when he got back in this area for his break from college. So, there is this guy who lived in my town during Hockey season and I had been in a relationship for the first half of the hockey season but once I met the Goalie everything changed. I broke up with my boyfriend which i dont regret. But once the season ended my "goalie" had to move back home, where his psycho ex-girlfriend lives. "Goalie" would lie to her abouteverything and to me, so he could be with both at once. I came to visit him in his home town and we had a blast but that didn't stop his ex-girlfriend from calling/texting BOTH of us every 10 min. It was horrible and she even talked about suicide to get his attention cause she didn't have it while I was there. 2 weeks later he was supposed to come back and spend a week with me. He is 21 and told me his dad said he couldn't come. I was understanding,but then he all the sudden had a change of attitude towards me. Like he wouldn't talk to me.
I'm guessing the Ex (crazy psycho) that she is got him back.
What do you think??

I know a girl who was rather shy when I first met her. She is exceptionally smart, however, and rather mature for her age. She may be a little too young for me, but only by three years. Really, I became quite enfactuated with her. I even wrote her a short humorous book. And there were times when I was absolutly positive that she liked me, even while she had someone else.

I still like her, but am not sure if she feels the same. I am a regular smoker that comes from an irresponsible family. She comes from an upper-middle class family and gets straight A's. When I tried to go after her once, I wanted to do good for myself. I stopped doing drugs completely for 2 months, even though I enjoy doing them. I recently wrote her a letter and handed it to her, and have not talked since. I instead picked back up on smoking.

What do I do? Do I give up on what I enjoy to try and make somethin with this girl? Or do I not even have a chance with her? I've probably over played my hand..

There's nothing a girl hates more than when a guy says he'll call and then he doesn't. With modern technology, we aren't stuck waiting by the phone - we can carry it with us - but the disappointment is no less - it's greater because we know he's carrying a cell too, so he doesn't have the "wasn't near the phone" excuse. Anyway, my best friend (Sam) introduced me to an old friend of his (Josh) who is single again. Sam's been talking Josh up to me for weeks - about what a great, super nice guy he is. Josh, Sam and I went out for drinks and Josh and I seemed to hit it off pretty well. Josh and I planned to get together Thursday night, and when I spoke with Josh Tues. he said he'd call Wed. to finalize details. Guess what? He didn't call -- what gives? It makes women feel humiliated and rejected. If you're not going to call or follow through - don't say you will. I appreciate some insight here - I've been doing this too long to still be getting upset about it.

Nothing is wrong with me the guys i meet are not the ideal match the ones i want i can not get. Am very attactive well built most people i meet at shopping malls or coffee shops tell me how beautiful i am. Old ladies walk up to me at bank to pass the comment its happened several times in different places. Am even scared of my beauty but what worries me is why can't i get a boyfreind???

he's home visiting for two weeks right now. well he's got one more week left. i spent 2 days and 2 nights with him. after i came back home from being with him he text me n told me he could never be with me n he doesnt wanna see me again. we had plans for him to come to my house for dinner and i was gonna go with him to his sisters house and we were gonna go here and there...

he's always saying "i know you cant wait 15 months" and i tell him im gonna wait he says "we'll see how long that lasts"..... is this the reason he's pushing me away?? or does he really just not love me anymore?

he leaves in november for iraq. he's here for one more week and a half and he's wasting time that we could be spending together becuase we may not see each other again before he deploys...

is there anything i can say or do to change this? i'm going crazy.......

me an my children are so frightened we dont know what to do they scream an shout at each other plus theres lots of banging like there fighting. nearly every day this happens. me and all the neighbours can hear whats going on the police have been called alot of times but they still argue and fight.i wont dare talk to them am to scared .I live in the U.K.

I've been with my girlfriend for two years and she keeps telling me i should 'change' everytime we have a small disagreement. Here are some of the things she says i should change about myself -

*My Stress
*The Way I Talk About Other Women
*How I dont suprise her enough
*The time i spend with my friends
*My attitude when we meet
*How i'm to laid back when i meet her family
*My music taste
*The time we spend on the phone (should talk longer)

I always say to her she is wonderful the way she is, even though she can be annoying i dont want her to change anything about herself because i love her more than anything in the world.

I would refuse Jessica Alba if she ever hit on me, because in my eyes my girl is pure perfection.

I think she is trying to turn me into her 'perfect' man, but i already told her i'm not perfect and i do have faults. What can i do to get her thinking in a similar way to me?
