why do girls fall in love with other girls?

It's called a girl crush, and despite what you think it's not usually sexual in nature at all. The other girl might be someone who the girl admires or she might have desirable traits like beautiful hair or bigger breasts, etc. so the girl wants to "be" her in a way (not like a stalker thing), and because she can't "be" her, she develops a girl crush...

Either that or they're lesbians.

They are called lesbians and they fall in love with other girls for the same reason that a man would fall in love with a woman. I dont know any straight girls who fall in love with other girls. Or is this just wishfull thinking on your behalf??

I dunno... but i think it depends; some girls have had bad experiences in past, so they're afraid of men and they find in a simple friendship with another girl something more than friendship, a feeling like love, others simply would like to be a man, they are just men in a female's body, others cuold think that men cannot understand them and find comprehension an love in another girl... no1 will know exactly why do girls fall in love with ohter ones.... but this is just my opinion.... ;-)

I have gay friends. . and from what they tell me, it makes sense. Who does a girl usually go to when they want to talk, cry, need comfort - - -another woman. . and that woman could be your sister, mother, girlfriend, cousin. . there's a bond women have that is different than a bond we have with men. . I thought about this, and it applies to me, when I'm hurt I call my sister or mother, when I have secrets or something I need to confide in someone with, it's usually a girlfriend, or my sister. . like I said I'm not a lesbian but I understand it. . men have that ego thing going on and it can be a turn off. . women know how to nurture, comfort and support better it's how God made us.

Well believe it or not girls like me fall hard to faster and harder! I love my boyfriend so much that i cant be without him and we are both in love and cant just leave like that.

Maybe b/c they feel other girls know what they want, girls listen to each other and compliment each other not to mention they know all the hot spots during sex. I have never been w/ a girl before but this would be my guess.
