Singles & Dating - 27 June 2007

I sound ridiculous, probably because I am, but I absolutely adore this guy. I haven't had much experience in this department, being dating and flirting; I was always too focused on academics. Alright, here's the skinny. He always comes up and hugs me whenever he sees me. We talk a lot, and he's shared a lot of himself with me that I know he's never told anyone else. When he left for the summer, he told me I'd be the one person he'd miss most from this place, he even invited me to come to Cali with him, mildly jokingly, mostly seriously. While in California (we live in FL) he bought me a gift, which he knew I would love, and I did. He also tells me that I smell good. Haha. Often though, he sends mixed signals. Sure, you're saying, duh, girl, he likes you. I have my doubts...he talks about other girls to me a lot. Who he thinks he's going to date next (he never does) or what type of girl he'd like to date. Is he doing this to make me jealous or get a rise out of me? I am confused. Help?

I looked up and called my old boyfriend that I dated on and off from the age of 14 to 19. He was shot in the leg when were sixteen and has since recovered. Now, he at 34, has nerve damage from the bullet wound and cannot walk well and his speech is slurred. He mind and memory is excellent, but he has slowed down alot. I have been talking to him on the phone and he has repeatedly asked me to be his girl and that he never stopped loving me. Now, I haven't seen him in 12 years and he lives in my hometown. I am going to visit him soon, but I am unsure if I would want to date him again. My feelings for him had never changed either but I am scared to see him and I am afraid that I am going to cry when I see him like that. Any suggestions?

I need some serious advice please. I started dating my co-worker 2 months ago. He is super sweet, caring, smart...everything I have ever wanted in someone. Well 2 weeks after we started dating, my best friend and I planned a trip to Miami. At that time he was ultra supportive of the trip. Now, he tells me last night that he doesn't want to see me anymore if I go to Miami. He thinks it's a party place and that my best friend & I are going to be wild and out of control.

Mind you, I am 28 and he is 35. So, after about an hour or more, of trying to convince him that I had no intention of being wild..I told him I don't need this s$%t....and walked away.

So, today I am torn....do I call him and put and end to this..or think that he is being completely unreasonable and say F this. He is not at work today, he has the day off..

So someone that knows relationships...please help. Cause I really do like him.

Ok heres the deal. I am a 20 year old female. People tell me all the time I am beautiful and I should be a model, which I find very sweet and it makes me soo happy! Should I tell my guy friend that I want to be with him? I have the worst case of fear of rejection. Don't know why because many guys like me, but it's always toward the guy i like.

I like this guy a lot!! He knows I like him and he calls me all of the time. I'm just not sure if he likes me or not. Ok so theres this boy ive like for 3 years now. He texts me quite alot and sometimes would ask who i like when he knew it was him. Sometimes when i reverse the question he tells me he still has feelings for me but nothing ever becomes of it. A month before we left school he told me this again. He said he loved me and never wanted to lose me and we were going out. this was over half term, so we'd been texting every day for a week. But when we got to school he acted as though he never knew me and we havent spoken since. We left school a week ago and i never even got to say goodbye and next year we are at different colleges. my friend bumped into him the other day and he said i never talk to him anymore..i think its the other way round because i tried but he just blanked me. he said he was glad hes ignoring me. he told her i should text him but im not sure.i love him so much nd want to sort it out. shall i text him? text him what do i say? or should i just leave it? please help =(

My man is a fisherman and his days and early evenings are spent doing what he needs to for fishing. He makes every attempt of seeing me when he can (usually every other night if he's not out on his boat) and he calls before he goes to bed or when he's on his way home from a trip. Needless to say he does the majority of the calling in the relationship. It's not that I don't want to call I just don't feel a need to call just to say hi and see how he is when I know he's busy. I will call however if I do have something to tell him that can not wait until I see or hear from him which has only happened a couple of times.

Last night he mentioned how he's unable to see me during the day because of his schedule which I understand but that I can call him. Was he hinting that he wants me to call just to say hi or was he giving me confirmation that I can call when I need to? I try and show him that even though I don't call I still care about him. I just don't feel the need to call for nothing

i feel so bad.. im soo disappointed with myself..the 1st time i took it i failed by one point i got 16 wrong outta 15. and this last time i got 21 out of 15.. so i donno how i did worse.. the drivin instructor was lookin at every single thing i did wrong.. she was really strict.. i was soo nervous but i feel like crapp.. have any of u gone thru this or know someone? i feel like im the only person that cant pass this darn test.

Ok my friend and this guy are wanting to date. My friend is 15 and the guy is 18. They want to see each other but alot of ppl say its illegal. I know the guy she wants to see, hes a pretty nice guy and i know that he is serious when it come to relationships and he wants this to work even though she is 15.
