me and my man meet on yahoo im in a chatroom and went from being friends and slid in2 a relationship hes from fairhope al im from pgh pa we broke up and now were going back out at least i think we r but sometimes i get mixed signals from him like one minute he says he loves me and the next he acts like were friends im confused i love him and want 2 be wit him but i dont really no what he wants [friends or more] and its starting 2 annoy me cause i dont no what he wants

Okay... so you met him online... and your relationship is online? Have you met in person?
Let me tell you something about online relationships... and NO... its not that they don't work or whatever.
The problem with online is that I can type a sentence and three people can read it... and depending on their mood, all three will read it differently. That's the problem. You say that he says things in the chat room that make you think he is just a friend, right? Maybe to him what he is saying... and HOW he is saying it... seems to be loving and all that. But you are reading it wrong. When you communicate only online you run this risk. You can't see the twinkle in his eye, or the grin... you can't hear inflections in his voice, you know?
I'd say that you need to relax a bit. You are SO physically far from each other... maybe its time to see if one of you can move closer to the other one. Just a thought. Good luck to you both

key word you met where on the internet why not go out and find a real man there are plenty of other fish in the sea if hes messing with your head and playing games say hey i know what your doing and im not cool with that i respect myself more than that and buh bye go find someone else in a realistic setting not off the net i mean for pete sakes its the internet how do you do that anyways i cant love someone that ive only talked to via instant messaging im 21 not an old timmer what is this world comming too.
that man could be a child molester or a killer you dont physically know him. or someting geesh my home isnt going to have a tv or internet when i have kids.
