hey hun
i think that you should just tell him how you feel. you said yourself that he is shy so that means he's not the type of person to "tell" you how he feels. and if he is calling you froma different state that means something what i dont know.. so why dont you just find out.. yes you dont like to be rejected but who says he is going to? so just lay it our for him. see how it goes and if it goes badly then it wasnt meant 2 be more than friends and keep it at friends and go find someone else because there are plenty of others who are gonna wanna be with you and the fear of rejection thing is all in your head.. so if u get blowin off just brush ur shoulder off and be like "i got this thats just one person".. well good luck ttyl

Like your user name implies, surrender to your feelings and tell him. This is a guy you've dated so you know each other. while you did not indicate why you stopped dating, I don't think you need worry about rejection from him since he calls you all the time from out of state no less.Besides, you did say that he was a shy guy . My advice: tell him how you feel. The worst that might happen is that he would not want to resume a romantic relationship with you.At least this way you would find out if you are wasting your time or not.I suspect you are going to hear some good news.Good luck and let's know how things turned out.

i think that maybe you should wait. i know that you like him alot and you really want to be with him but becasue you guys are in two diffrent states and you guys are talking all the time may not mean that he is into you 100%. i dont want him to reject you so i think that maybe you should wait till he gives you more signals that he is totally into you before you make that move. but you know more about the situation than i do and if you are sure that he really does like you then go for it. and another thing are you really sure about the long distance relationships?

always always always when it comes to relationship feelings, be honest, it is the best thing u can possibly do.
there is always a chance of rejection but gotta be positive and say maybe the will work. just be strong and go head first into it. if he says no, its okay, its not the end of the world. there are plenty of other fish in the sea!!
Good Luck!!

Ask to meet up or something so you can see how he feels in person. Will it work in different states? I would just tell him with no pressure. Stop you thinking what if atleast!

That's a good sign though if he's calling you from a different state. Tell him how you feel. Good luck!

Ask him out. chances are that if he is a shy guy, he's way to afraid to give you a call. i'd ask him out before it's to late and you or him loses interest. Give it a go.

Take the lead if he doesn't! It's obvious that he likes you a lot. Follow your heart.
