I'm just asking, because I know while a lot of them are really just looking for a nice girl, there are also those who just go for the pretty/beautiful girls.

I don't have a choice any more if I want to find a girl. I failed at on-line dating, my friends won't fix me up and I don't know any single women my age (21). I have to approach some young women I don't know at my favorite hang-outs. Do I even have a slim chance in finding a date? Do women actually date men they meet in public or just those they meet through friends? Does anyone think I shouldn't even try?

2 years ago, i had it all. I was dating the most beautiful and outgoing girl. I asked her out under the stars on a summer night. It was all so perfect. Soon enough, however, she dumped me and changed her whole image. She ditched her gorgeous friends and joined the band. She started dating a fat nerdy band geek. Throughout the next year, i dated many girls on and off but it always seemed that the ones that i liked the most would dump me, and the ones that i didnt like as much i would dump sooner or later. I never found a girl that i liked as much as the one who joined the band. We'll call her 'band girl.' Now, its been almost a year since my last girlfriend. I'm fresh out of high school now so im not around as many girls as i used to be. Im so lonely, and i still dwell on that first relationship with band girl. Will i ever find a girl that i like as much as her? I feel like im in a rut right now! I just want someone to be with so i can be happy again!

Most of the men I have dated in the past have been very outgoing, loud and center of the attention type guys. Recently I borke things off with one of those types and now got set up with a nice, guy next door type. He is really sweet and seems to be a great guy. The problem is that he is getting divorced, works at a job where he is gone a lot, and when he is home he has his 6 yr old 5 of 7 days of the week. He is living with a friend during the divorce, waiting to see the outcome...so there are all these obstacles. It seems like a lot of work for a simple good guy. I am not sure I have that in me right now. I think I need someone emotionally available... (which he says he is) and can date without all the drama. Anyhow... just not sure if I should stick it out for one of the "Good guys"?

I like this guy, but does he like me only as a friend or more?
I have known this guy for about 4 years now. Just recently we have begun to talk to eachother again. A friend of mine has told me clearly that she 'knows' he has a crush perhaps on me because of something that has happened recently. Last weekend I had come back from the club and my 'guy friend' called me to ask if I was still coming over to his house. (Earlier I had called him to tell him I would be coming to his house) I told him that I was already home and had changed my clothes He said "ok well I was going to say i have a car, but nevermind." I physically slapped my forehead for being so naive, so I persuaded him to come pick me up and he did. He came to my house to pick me up at 2 AM. We were at his house and we watched a DVD but at the corner of my eye I noticeed that he would glance at me for a long period of time and then turn away. Also, he playfully slapped my thigh like 5 times. Oh and I gave him a scratch on his arm and he asked me to make it feel better- a kiss on his arm.

Hey, I just wanted some ways to tell if a guy likes u. I would really appriciate good answers!?! Is this one: He is a complete clown when u r not around. I am not in his class, but I am in his church, and my Best Friend says he acts beyond rediulous, but he is SO not like that at church. There are others, but I dont want to descibe all of them. Okay.
so here is the situation.
i dont see much my boyfriend,
because all the free time he has, he plays a sport.
and yea. =( it sucks.
so i see him only at school couple times a day.
but usualy only in the morning, before classes start.
so lately, i havent spoken with him much, because he always talks to his friends and not me. he doesnt even pay attention. so i just stand there like a total stranger :(
so on wednesday, he came online after school.
and i was like, i love u so muc and i miss you. and he just completely ignored that, tho usualy he always says the same back. but then he didnt. so i was lik, may i ak u a question and he was like...yea. and then i asked " do u love me"?
and he was tryingto change the subject and stuff. and i was liek oh comon answer me.
so he said "well. u havent talked ot me lately, so i dont love u anymore. i like u hell of alot yea, but i dont love u. just a little "
so that hurt me sooo much. :(
and then i havent seen him for 2 days

Because I am one myself, and once a guy learns of that, they slowly loose interest.
When they ask me why, I tell them I am just waiting for that special someone.
Guy's don't even stick around for a week....why is that?

okay well, i am really positive that this guy likes me. but he's kinda quiet, but really cool. we have fun togethar and i do believe we have many things in common.

I have had this guy friend for about a year. Last year we almost went out, but we decieded not to. We ended up being friends with benifits instead(Not ALL the benifits). I developed a bit of a thing for a guy I met after I noticed he was staring at me so much. He'd look and the second I'd meet his eyes and catch him, he'd look away. I let this go on for a month, and then I got up the nerve to introduce myself. He's acted scared and pretty much ignored me ever since. I've talked to him a couple of times since, and he's always nice, but why can't he even like say hello? He'll only talk if I talk to him first, and then he's as shy as can be.
