we have been talking for almost a month. i like him. he wants to meet. i do to but i am scared. i dont think he is a bad guy but i ask my self am i ready? iam a single mom, and it has been just me and my son for 7 years,(yes i still have sex) but no seriouse relationships. help

i have a boyfriend that recently asked me if i would marry him, and a boy friend that he lives in another city, but is coming to my city soon. i was telling my boyfriend that i have such friend and he's coming here soon, and he asked me to cut the relationship with him cuz as i dont like him with other girls, he doesnt me to have boy friends either. and since i love him so much and respect him wishes, i wrote my friend that i have to cut it with him. i did think he would be angry but i thought he'd forget. instead i got an email from him reminding me that we promised to be faithful friends and that the whole reason of his coming was me, that he wanted to propose to me for marriage. i'm really stuck here, and hurt too. cuz i didnt want to hurt his feelings and i really didnt know he wanted me for marriage too. and i'm here hurting everyone's feelings including my own. help me plz

I know this sounds like a dumb question but here is my situation: I have a boyfriend who is really into sports. He plays basketball all the time and works out pretty much every day. I on the other hand don't play any sports. I do go to the gym a few times a week and I'm not overweight or anything, and I also know alot about sports and am able to have a conversation about it. All of his other girlfriends have been cheerleaders, basketball players etc and I think I'm the first one that I know of that isnt a sports star. He tells me he likes me more than he has ever liked anyone but sometimes I worry that in the back of his mind that he will start to dislike the fact that I am not very athletic and go find another girl that is. I would do anything for this boy and I really dont want to lose him so I was wondering if other guys think that a girl should play sports?

A boy at school I like has a girlfriend but me and my friends can kinda see that he is loseing interest in her. He sat at my lunch table the other day and said "You know I have a girlfriend and I would ask for your number but I cant" then he gave me his number and he flirts with me all the time and constantly stares at me .So I called him and he said he was on the phone with his sister it was late so he wants me to call him today does he like me will he eventually break up with his girlfriend for me he acts as if he doesnt like her anymore.Was that really his sister on the phone because something didnt sound right about that.

I am dating a girl that i have known for a long time. I am very much in love with her and we get along very well. I am not sure if it is good for us to be together. In the past i had serious problems with depression and suicidal thoughts and so on. And she is still at the point in her life that she has depression and suicidal thoughts. She will not go to see a psychologist. And as i said I lover her very much. But in relationships you feed off of each others strength and if we both have had the same problem could that make it worse. Now i have gotten past the depression but she is still there. I know this is a dangerous time for her. But do you think that with that being in my past could help her or hurt her?

Ok there is this guy i really like and i asked him if he wanted to do something over easter cause otherwise we wouldnt c each other for a month

My best friend and i have been close for 3 years - it turns out we've secretly liked each other the whole time without even knowing it until now. We do care and have fallen for each other but we decided that we both weren't ready for a serious relationship. Yes, there were times where in between, we would hook up but THIS TIME, we had a serious talk and promised that we can't be "biased" about things and go back to being best friends. We're both happy that things are back to normal...but more him than me. I'm heartbroken because that guy i've been wanting/dreaming for was the one right next to me and i can't be with him. He seems more over it than me - he's just happy we're normal again...then it makes me wonder if he ever had a thing for me....i need to trust what he said because before he said that if we were to be together it would be a time where things weren't as stressful (degree, work, etc..) and he wants it to be serious and long lasting...

I like this girl a lot and she knows it, but I can tell she just wants to be friends, which is cool, but I'm not giving up yet, I just need some help because I'm sooooooo nice to her and her friends, And I'm kind of shy which sucks. But I can tell she kind of feels bad for me, because I'm really shy, I do have friends though. I don't want her to feel bad for me because I think I'm too nice to her and her friends. when they need rides I'm always available, When they need something I buy them that thing. I might go to a movie tonight with her and her friends, How can I overcome my shyness??? I hate being shy, Its not helping me at all because I just got done talking on the phone with this girl that I like and she did most of the talking and when she stopped talking there was an awkward silence and then she said she had to go. what should I do about not only tonight and talking to her, but just hanging out with her in general?

I'm a guys and I have a best friend that I have known for more tha 10 years. He has a steady girlfriend for about 1 year now. Sometimes we still hang out just the two us. A lot of the time we we hang out he wants to so to strip clubs where you can get lap dances with contact with the girl. He usually has at least two girls dance for him. Now he says his girlfriend is aware and that she is OK with that.

Should I just leave it at that? Are most girls OK with this?
