but I was drinking and did the stupid thing...I slept with him. He hasnt called, but he told a mutual friend (the girl who set us up) to make plans for next wknd. Im not sure what to think. was I a one night stand....or is he just one of those guys who "forget" how to use a phone? I called him the next day..."I was just about to call you" he says. then, after maybe a five minute conversation he lets me go. I dont want to be the one to call him again. guess what Im asking is....1 night stand or typical guy?

Ok I met him online we started talking on the phone and we're friends on myspace as well. We've been talking 4 a couple of months and I never met him in person becuz he's overseas at the moment. Two of his friends (girls) who I don't know sent me friend request. I didn't accept them becuz I thought it was kind of weird his friends asking to be friends when I don't even know him that well. Anyway one of them sent me a message asking if I wanted 2 come 2 sum party they were having for him when he gets home. I didn't respond and he told me that she asked him why wouldn't I accept her as a friend or return her email. He told her becuz I didn't know her that well. Anyway I want to know why out of the blue she wants to be friends with me? Do you think he might have mentioned me to her? Do u think she thinks something is going on btween me and him and she wants to get in the middle of it to find out? Or am I just jumping to conclusions?

ok so there`s this guy at work and i think that he fancies me and he is teh head chef there. anyway on sunday he was talking to everyone at work and he was saying that on tuesday [today] he is going to cook a really special dish. now i only work there on the weekends and he has been flirting with me of late. so he was on an obvious high talking about this dish he is going to make and then he looks at me and saw that i was looking down, and he goes....would you like to eat it too??? and i say "no" just to be polite....but i think he was so majjor embarssed it was so weird and i came home and played it over in my head and it just doesn`t make sense....any comments???

I dated this man a few months after his divorce was final. I should have KNOWN that he wasn't healed yet, but either way, we dated anyway and I admit to being the rebound. We dated for 5 months, then broke up because he said that he wasn't falling in love with me yet, and he thought he should be. I am older, and have been single for a while. I truly believe that he is the one for me, but I don't want to be foolish and think that he will come around. We are still very good friends, and have not stopped hanging out together. We share the same beliefs on family, marriage, faith, and I spend most of my time with him laughing. Even my pastor has given me encouragement that maybe he just wasn't ready to date anyone, and that he might come around.

So, can it ever work if I am patient?

More details: His ex cheated, and just got engaged to the man she cheated with. We broke up less than a month later.

I have always dreamed of being able to protect someone I love - and now I can do the same thing for this girl I love. However, I have told her my feeling last year but she said she just wanna be friends. I do not know how is her feeling as we are speaking though.. But, there are rumours that she like another boy who is also after her.. But, I never saw him protecting her whenever his friend bullied her.

This morning, a class bully disturbed her but I did not have the gut to warn him. I am afraid of what others' opinions will be. I am afraid of gossips. I am afraid of everything. Then, I saw one boy from another class was like hitting her bag (on her back) up and down and she did not seem bothered but her expression was miserable. I did not have the gut to tell him off, and instead her friend, a girl scolded him. I was afraid that if I walk up to him and tell him off, he would immediately jeered and started gossip

I have broken up with my gf like seriously 5 times since January and we are in this awful cycle of getting back togther and breaking up. We are done as of right now, but I am wondering if she is going to call in a few weeks once she realizes I don't care anymore! In the past, I have always made the move to call. I won't say i cheated on my bf, but i've once went out for movies with a man 14 yrs my senior without telling him. in the end he found out and we nearly broke up but somehow we managed to patched up. however, he would often get angry over trivial matters and bring up that old issue of how he's now thinking about me going to the movies alone with that man and etc and threatened to break once again. and trivial matters are playing a small joke on him by picture messaging him saying that i'm out with a cute guy when in fact that guy is my COUSIN! During my year long relationship with Scott I cheated on him with my ex, Pete, who I never stoped talking to. I really loved Scott and am truely sorry for what I did. We broke up about 10 months ago and during those months Scott would call me after going out drinking and tell me that he loves me and misses me, but the next day tells me that he doesn't want to be back with me "right now".
It's been this constant rollercoaster for the last 10 months, telling me he wants to see me than during the week asks if I have a new boyfriend. He lives with his grandmother who told him that if he ever got back with me she would kick him out of the house and he told me that if he lived on his own things would probably be different.
I recently told Scott that i can't be freinds with him anymore. I still love him and want to be with him and it's just to hard to just be "friends".
Did I do the right thing or did I just ruin our chances more of getting back together?

He tells me every day he loves me. I live in TN and he lives in MO. I go see him every weekend. He seems so happy when I am there. It breaks my heart to think he is lying to me.

I brought the fact up that his cell phone bill was sent to my house and I opened thinking it was an advertisement (I had been getting alot - I had ordered his phone for him)...well the at first glance it appeared to be $100 and I freaked thinking he was going to have a heartattack. After reviewing, I see where there is LOTS of late night calls to people in Knoxville and in KS and other areas too...an hour to two hours sometimes longer. I got so upset because I know he told me that he talked to other women who says are his friends...but for that long? Am i being paranoid...i am scared to death that he is cheating on me....verbally if you know what I mean....someone please help....

I am 54 years old and my wife died when she was 51 years old. She loved me so much. I did not have any feelings for her. We have been together for at least 30+ years. I never had children with her but I did started having sex with her since I was 28 years old. She died from an accident. I didn't kill her. I told her "I love you" countless times. My feelings for her weren't that deep. If I left her, I wouldn't have anymore sex and she'd be heartbroken and I would start paying for child support if she did got pregnant. I never fell in love with her. If I did fell in love with her, I know I would be very sad right now, but good thing I didn't fell in love with her. I can imagine myself leaving her and not being sad. I don't feel bad at all for her death. I had to pretend to be crying on her funeral to let her family think that I was sad. To be honest, I am not sad. Before she died, she said, "I am very happy to have met you in my life." When she was alive, I treated her like a queen.

Sorry to ask this question. I want to know what ladies and gentlemen have in mind about this issue. In other words does love survive even after separation which is never going to be resolved? Is it analogous to the fact that emotional bond tends to decrease when two persons in love are separated by a long distance say due to job assignments?
