I'm 13 and like this guy in Alabama and we only get to see each other around a couple times a year, is it worth having a relationship? Also how do you make the relationship work out?

YES! They most definitely can work...IF you make it work. Let me explain.
You both must be willing to let go of the relationship if its not working out
You both must contact each other every day (AIM, IM, email) and call each other once a week
You both must truly be serious about it otherwise it won't work
You both must be committed and really like each other, otherwise it won't work.
My friend has a long-distance relationship (she's in NC, he's in FL) and she sees him once about every three months. I have a long-distance relationship and I see my bf once or twice a month. Good luck! If you need more tips or advice email me at neighwhinny93@yahoo.com :)

i have no idea, but i do have friends currently in long D relationships and from what i see, NO.
well, or perhaps it depends on how you define 'work'.
both my friends are seeing another guy/girl behind their actual bf/gf's back when they're away....
my current bf is not of the same nationality as me and he'd be returning to his country in about half a year to a yr's time...
i'm keeping my fingers cross about this...
hopefully we can be the first case to prove that long D relationship DO work... PROPERLY...
