I been talking to this girl for about 8 months now,she says she feels happy when shes with me and I feel the same way .We kisse in the mouth and have spent a few nights together,we hold hands everywhere we go .To me it seems like we are dating but when people asked her she says we are only friends and nothing but friends. does this means she is trying to keep her options open or what?

I think you're right... she is keeping her options open.
Could you ask her outright if she feels your relationship is exclusive or should you be seeing other people too.
She sounds a bit like she wants to have her cake and eat it too.
Don't be her 'fill in' until she finds what she wants and then dumps you.
I presume you're a guy? If you are a girl then perhaps she is just experimenting a little but is not willing to declare herself gay as she is unsure.

I'm not a girl but I think I have the answer. I have a girl friend who is sort of in the same situation as you. She says that she and this guy are dating but are not gf and bf and that sort of boggled my mind. Then the other day I got to thinking about it (i have no idea why) and I came up with the answer. If you're free to see other people, then ur not bf and gf. If yur not free to see other people then you are bf and gf.

i'm with Jungle J. You sound slightly to desirous to choose to do issues that females do. yet why can men have intercourse with one hundred women persons and be seen "the guy", yet whilst women persons did a similar element, we are whor3s or sluts. Double standards suck. yet they go the two procedures.

It really depends if you have formally ask here if she will be yours. ask her and see what she say's. It kinda sounds like to me it's friends with benefits.

i only used the term "friends" when i didn't want anyone to know that i was seeing that person or if i wanted to see them and other people also.
