Singles & Dating - 12 March 2007

I have always dreamed of being able to protect someone I love and stand up for them - and now I have the chance to do the same thing for this girl I love. However, I have told her my feeling last year but she said she just wanna be friends. I do not know how is her feeling as we are speaking though.. But, there are rumours that she like another boy who is also after her.. But, I never saw him protecting her whenever his friend bullied her.

I feel so ashamed of myself. This morning, a class bully disturbed her but I did not have the gut to warn him. I am afraid of what others' opinions will be. I am afraid of gossips. I am afraid of everything.

Any advice for me? I am 15 by the way..

See i have been talking to this guy on the internet for over a year now he is in the national guard and right now they are over in Iraq well my thing is that when he gets to come home for a couple of weeks he wants me to come up to wisconsin to see him and well I was wondering if u think that long distance relationships work or not. I mean i live in North Carolina and he lives in Wisconsin. He wants me to move up there when he gets out of the military next year. I really do love him and he says that he loves me and that we can make it work but i don't know. Do u think it willl work or am i just wasting my time? I really do like him alot.

In high school I was teased by some girls because I was fat, nerdy, and had glasses. However while attending college away I lifted weights, joined boxing, and now dress with the best urban gear. I now am able to get any woman I want and when I came back home I rejected and insulted those girls who teased me in high school that now want me and they was upset and felt bad that I did that to them. Is this great revenge?

well me and my ex gf broke up about two months ago, but i still think about and care for her. Im just not in love with her anymore and i told her that and i believe that hurt her, but our relationship was on thin ice as is. But i can remember one time when we broke up she told me she will always love me. We have not spoke in almost three months and im talking to other girls and i know she is talking to other guys. We were together for 3 years so she is kinda a part of me as i know i im to her. Neither one of us has call each other and her birthday is next week and im wondering as a friend should i call her and say happy birthday and possibly take her out because i really miss her and i cant hide what my heart is telling me even though in my mind i dont want to be with her because im no longer in love with her. What should i do?

Ok so there is this guy I have been talkin to for a few months now... And we talk every day and text eachother all the time... And I find myself really liking him a little more them I think I should be, and I dont know what to do... You see he lives a little over 600 miles away from me... I really would like to go see him and see if things could work out between us... The only thing is, is that there is this other girl that is going to see him this week and I find myself getting jealous over the fact that she is going to be there.... I know he likes her.... And I dont know how he feels about me... I think, how could he not like me even just a little... We talk all the time about everything.... Is it true that when a girl tries to make eye contact with you she's intrested?? This girl at work walks past my desk about 5 times a day and she is always looking strait at me, we've never talked but we've made eye contact once or twice. I now try not to look (although I can see she is looking out of the corner of my eye) becuase I'm already in a long term relationship so I'm not looking for anyone and I don't wanna give off the wrong signals but I feel I'm being ignorant now.

My girlfriend and I were together for over 2 year already. I was very much in love with her. She is in love with me also. I started dating her since she was a freshman and I was a senior. Now, she is a junior and I am in college. 5 days ago, we had sex. 2 days ago, I broke up with her because I caught her cheating with another guy. I was very heartbroken when I saw her with him. and now, she is going to charge me for statutory rape. But I wasn't forcing her to have sex with me. It was a mutual decision. During the act, she never told me to stop. I just hope that she isn't pregnant for what I did though.

I met a girl at a friends wedding about a month ago - she seemed really positive and fun and we talked a bit (mostly about her) and i notice she kept sitting next to me, coming outside when I was..etc

she crossed my mind a few times since then so I got her number from my friends new wife, and gave her a call. She was driving at the time so I told her I'd call her back in 15 but she didn't answer. i text her to say i don't understand what i said in the matter of minutes to make her ignore me and that i would take it as if she is having a bad day... she text me back to let me know she was having a bad day and that she would be free the next day should i wish to call. i was busy all week so i called her at the end of the week but no answer. she text me a few days later apologising, & she was having it hard and busy with work, but saying i should call her sometime during the day. considering the trends so far i am no fool - she will not answer.

I have known this guy since the beginning of the year and we have gotten to be really good friends. Lately he's been giving me mixed signals and so I have no idea if he likes me or not...please help....

Called me from the bathtub once
Told me "I put the cheese on his pizza" and when I took it as a joke he looked upset
Just about 2 weeks ago he started sitting by me in the gym before school
BUT when I asked him to sign my agenda he signed it *his name* your best friend ANDwhen he asked me to go to the library with him and I said ok he said "good, you're such a good friend"....Do you think he likes me???? Yes I do like him

I have this lady friend who I love alot and who love me and she may move out of state. She's going through a divorce which may take awhile and she tells me that if she moves she will miss me. She's asked me to move there with her so we would be close to me so we would not have to have a long distance relationship. There are some things that she has asked me to do and I will not be able to do them and I feel if I don't she will back away. I was with a guy for 4 years...and he broke up with me a week ago...now he is "hooking" up with other people as i hear...but im not sure...should i start looking for someone new...not to hook up with but to start talking too.
