I have known this guy since the beginning of the year and we have gotten to be really good friends. Lately he's been giving me mixed signals and so I have no idea if he likes me or not...please help....
He keeps eye contact
Waited for me by my locker twice
Asked me who I like a couple times
Noticed when I got a new jacket
Asks me personal questions
Remembers little details from past conversations
Pokes me in the hall, runs away, turns around and smiles
Brushes up against me in the hall, runs away, turns around, and smiles
Called me from the bathtub once
Told me "I put the cheese on his pizza" and when I took it as a joke he looked upset
Just about 2 weeks ago he started sitting by me in the gym before school
BUT when I asked him to sign my agenda he signed it *his name* your best friend ANDwhen he asked me to go to the library with him and I said ok he said "good, you're such a good friend"....Do you think he likes me???? Yes I do like him

As wonderful as it would be to go out with your best friend, it's entirely possible that he's being just that; a best friend.
Perhaps he's not afraid to be his real goofy self around you because you know each other so well. He could be really comfortable around, thus allowing him to seem like he's interested.
I'm not saying that he's not interested, but I'm not saying that it seems like he is either.
The only person who truly knows, and the next time you guys get into a meaningful conversation, ask him.
Most of the time, guys don't act that way without good reason.
My best friend treated me like that, and yes, he did like me...but then we decided that it would be best if we just remained friends because a relationship could tear us apart for good if we have a bad break up.
trust your heart. and trust him. If he tells you no, find out why...and don't back down until he gives you a real, believable reason.

well most people say those are signs that he likes you. but in my opinion it isn't always true. so i think you need to just ask him how he feels. it will let things go and if it works out then great. but if he just wants to be friends then aleast you know the truth and can go on. but i he doesn't like you then still be his friend things might be wierd for awhile but will get back to the way they used to be. also what does your heart tell you to do because that is one important thing with stuff like this. you never know so take a chance explore you confedence.

With all of that, its hard to say but I think he does... You should ask him if he likes you or have a friend ask him that way you can know for sure and if he does then you can tell him how you feel without feeling stupid. (I'm in the same situation right now)

Those are HUGE hints on that he like you. He's probably one of those softie's that are too shy to say anything. Just give him a few spread-out hints for about a month and if nothing happens, just ask him out.

Yes, he is afraid of rejection and what it would do to your friendship... If you like him back, set him up as a friend to meet you somewhere alone and ask him
