I was with a guy for 4 years...and he broke up with me a week ago...now he is "hooking" up with other people as i hear...but im not sure...should i start looking for someone new...not to hook up with but to start talking too. I dont know if people are saying it to make me mad or whatever...i think its too soon...but i also never had gone through this before. i still love him...but i just want to start feeling that someone wants to be with me..is that wrong? i feel im doing it for the wrong reasons...i dont want to lead anyone on...bc i do have feelings for my ex still.?

Find somebody hotter and better. Make him jealous and feel like complete sh*t!!! Maybe he will wake up and realize he lost something good. Being with someone for 4 years, then finding someone a week later isn't right, sounds like he was planning to leave for awhile. But if he's willing to do it, and hurt you like that, hurt him back. Love is painful, I'm sorry hun!

First of all, you shouldn't listen to rumors.They can hurt your feelings even more. You might want to talk to him and express how you feel. Now if he is seeing other people ater a week you have to ask yourself was he cheating in the relationship already. I personally don't think that someone could get over a person within a week. But don't stress over it.

Focus on yourself, and be patient. I am sure you are a beautiful person who a lot of people want, but they are waiting to make sure you are over your ex. Hooking up will make you seem like a needy slut. So just be yourself and wait for the GOOD guys to come around. They will.

Take time to move on. If you are not ready, dont push yourself to be with a new person.
