Ive been with my boyfriend for a long time and i feel that if i was to talk about him to someone saying "my boyfriend" just doesnt seem to portray my real feeling and strength of our relationship. Boyfriend to me sounds more junior high-ish, a boyfriend could be someone you have been seeing for only a month or two. I guess im just venting.

We are not engaged yet, but will be soon, so saying "my boyfriend" just doesn't seem to portray the importance he holds in my life. Anyone else feel this way? Or am i the only one ?

I'm a receptionist and at our firm we have a very annoying client who is in his seventies and is one of those dirty-old-man-flirts (I'm 20 by the way). Everytime he comes in, I let his broker know he's here and tell him to have a seat. He never sits. He just stands at my desk staring at me. After a while he'll talk. 1st offense: a dirty joke that I can't remember but was very uncalled for. 2nd :I told him I'd recently quit smoking and he said "oh, honey. If you smoke, I ain't gonna kiss ya!". I wrote it off as a harmless little old man. 3rd: came in Monday but his broker wasn't there. When I told him that, he once again just stood and stared. A few moments later he told me to leave his name/number. I asked his name and he told me I should know it by now. I finally got his name/number and he told me since I got his number, I should give him mine. I know he's just a harmless little old man but it made me uncomfortable. It's annoying, disguting, and uncalled for. Would you report it?

Well i broke up with him like two months ago and he said he would just leave me alone. Well after we broke up he would call me and text me all the time saying he loved me i tryed to ignore it. Then like a week ago i went to the mall and he showed up so i started to leave and he followed me out. So we were out in the parking lot in the rain and he wouldnt let me leave for about 15 mins. But right before he let me leave he made me kiss him. He literally made me he grabed me and forced me to kiss him. Then a few days after that i saw him at the park and he did the same thing. I havent talked to him since the day at the park but im still worried. Am i paranoid if not what do i do?

there was this guy who liked me in the 7th grade .... and well.... i dint know how to react to it so i dissed him..... n he liked me in the 8th grade.... and den i sortof started to like him back.... and during summer i realised that i really liked him.... so in the new skool year i tried to move it up a bit by showing hints dat i like him too.... but now instead of returning the favor.... he dating this other girl.... who is lik a B****! but he is acting a bit weird abt her.... lik getting too obssesive and all and it clearly shows dat she sooo dosent like him back....

How do tell your fiance that you been with for /for 3yrs that you need space? Its so hard for me to do it. Im afraid he's going to commit suicide or go nuts on me. Im just getting to realize so many wrong things about him. My problelm is I don't talk. I bottle things in. Im too nice. Its always the good ones that get screwed over. I wanna be single. I want to go on vacations with the girls, meet new ppl make new friends, learn something new. I want to be able to go somewhere and not have to say where im going, when im coming home, whos coming with me etc. This sucks.

it happened in Jul 06, My fiance went to a strip club, and got a lap dance. But at first he told me, nothing happened. Then I found out through someone, that he got a lap dance. I can't get over it! WHY? Now, I think about it more and more because we're getting married this June. He went to Stilettos in Nyack, NY. How bad do they get with their customers? He says he is telling me the truth, but he lied to me about getting one, so should I just brush it off, like no big deal? I’m getting out of a relationship and my best friend is getting out of a relationship, but we both realize that we have feeling for one another that we would like to pursue, but the time is just too soon. My marriage was 4 years and his relationship was 2 years. We decided that it was too soon for both of us and we needed a chance to heal from our past relationships first, lest we doom what could end up being a very wonderful thing for both of us. He was my first love and we were very close when we were younger, until we were forced to part by our families. How long should we wait before we attempt any type of relationship? On average how long would it take for us to be emotionally ready? I know it depends on the person, but just for arguments sake.

I met this guy through an online dating source, the only thing is he lives in NY and I live in St. Louis. We've talked online of course, exchanged pics, used a webcam, talked on the phone, his mom knows about me, he's a really sweet guy, we hit it off whenever we talk, he's there for me when I'm sad, etc. We've been doing this for about 3 months now, everyday. Well now we would like to meet up. What is the best way of doing this since we are in 2 different states? Should he fly to me, me fly to him, or meet in an in-between city? ive seen with my bf for a month and a half(im 20,hes 24)We live about a half hour away and he doesnt drive,only i do.im getting REALLY frustrated with the amount of time we spend together.last sat,i saw him but we were out at a bar,sunday we went ATVing with all his buddies.on tues i saw him,with his parents.i feel like we NEVER spend any time alone.I asked him to hang out last night but he said he was too tired i told him how i feel about this and he keeps saying i shouldnt feel that way and to just 'chill'.the fact that its like pulling teeth to see him and that were never alone make me feel like he doesnt care about me.he said that his friend sees his gf once a week and they have a perfect relationship,and when i asked him if he'd be ok with seeing me 1 a week he said yes.i think that is rediculous!especially for a new relationship.i know he hasnt had a gf in 2 years...so should i give him more time/space?how should i handle this,its really bothering me!should i act distant back?

When i'm in a relationship i give it everything i've got. Every guy i've ever been with has taken advantage of this. I give to the point where i make myself miserable. Every serious relationship i've had lasted to around the 3-year mark and i gave up...quit trying. I just want to be happy and make my two kids happy. Are there any good guys left that will try as hard as i do and love myself and my kids as much as we love them? I'm 29 years old and starting to lose hope for happiness.
