When i'm in a relationship i give it everything i've got. Every guy i've ever been with has taken advantage of this. I give to the point where i make myself miserable. Every serious relationship i've had lasted to around the 3-year mark and i gave up...quit trying. I just want to be happy and make my two kids happy. Are there any good guys left that will try as hard as i do and love myself and my kids as much as we love them? I'm 29 years old and starting to lose hope for happiness.

Lots of posers out there who will take advantage. Try not giving so much. Giving should be mutual and the guy should make the first moves.

Hi... it's just my opinion, but even when you are in a relationship and have children, they must continue to be your priority... not the boyfriend...
meanwhile, just be yourself. you don't have to give and give until you are worn out and used up.
if a man likes you and cares, he will accept you for the person you are, not for what you give. dangling "bait" to keep someone around isn't what it's all about.
it's ok to give to others and do things for them once in a while, but more important to take care of YOU and your children first.
if there is a man out there who will accept you and your children for the people you are, he will come along eventually. i wish you all the best!
