My boyfriend of 5 months said that we do not have a sexual connection but, we have a regular connection. What does he mean by that and can I do anything to change that?

Despite my best attempts to attract that 'special someone', I have not been able to attract the romantic interests of a girl in nearly three years and, at nearly 24, this is starting to worry me.

My birthday is coming up in roughly a week and a half and I was wondering if any of you might have any advice on how I might be able to use this fact to spark a girl’s romantic interest, even if only for an evening.

I already plan on a club that evening but do no know how to make girls aware of this fact without appearing ostentatious or how to employ it in such a way as to attract the interests of women.

Also, I live in the DC area and would be open to any suggestions in regards to which bars/clubs would be best for such a celebration.

While I know that it is not the most moral course of action to attempt to find a girl who is interested in a one night "roll in the hay", I have been alone for the past three years and would really enjoy some companionship, if only for the evening.

..you work around a lot of guys and none of them talk to you or pay any attention to you except one of them. like theres this one guy he will always smile and say hi and start conversation and make jokes and stare at me. but none of the other guys do this, just him. why is this?

I see this all of the time. Girls and guys think that they need to be with someone in order to feel good or need to have a date whenever they go to do things that aren't simply recreational. I don't understand it. Maybe it's because they think that it's expected and if they don't have a bf or gf they will look like failures. I here people who are older than I am talk about it even more. You know how once they get to a certain age it's like they feel that people are going to start to look at them in a strange way if they aren't married or atleast in a relationship and it seems like because of this they start to look specifically for someone to "settle down" with (Maybe around 38 years old). What do you think?

I've been seeing the same guy for almost 9mos. now & I told him a long time ago that I wanted a committed relationship & he said he wasn't ready yet but he asked me to wait. However, he still keeps talking to other women. I let him come to my place to shower because his water pipes are busted, I give him money whenever he asks for it, someone tried to break in his car while he was at my place & I offered to get him a rental while his car is in the shop. However, when I call him & he's on the other line with a woman he won't even answer my calls. Last night I told him that it wasn't fair because I could no longer deal with the other women. I told him I obviously need & want something that he's not willing to give me & he said nothing. He simply said I'm about to go to sleep. Don't I deserve some respect? Don't I deserve a committment? If he knows what I want & he still wants other women y won't he just let me be? He won't even say anything when I try to have these convo's.

I split up with my long term boyfriend then we got back together even tho i hurt him (not by cheating) and he didnt trust me, dont think he was 100% sure if it was a good idea to get back with me but he did anyway. Before it went wront we had a really good relationship and were both very happy. when we got back together initially he was fine and greatful that we were back together but as time went on he went very off, he didnt contact me much,he wasnt the same and he seemed a lot less interested. I'v been going out with my girldfriend for 6 months now. Nothing serious to me but to her its completely serious. She even wants to have a baby with me. Recently iv felt that we have been growing apart. But to her im everything, she cries when i leave her and i havent done anything with my friends in forever. I really want to end it but she's so fragile. And to make it worse she cuts. I'v seen her do it just because i left for a couple of hours. Please help.
