..i think he likes me because he tries to get my attention a lot and says hi a lot and stares at me.. but usually i dont really have long conversations with him when he tries to talk to me, because im shy. and i act like i dont like him (i know this is wrong) but i do like him alot. but now he doesnt pay attention to me as much anymore, does he think i dont like him? what do i do? i really want him

from your actions he probably doesn't think you like him ...... you are afraid but letting this fear control your actions needs to be changed ... or you will miss many opportunities in life ..not just him.....Muster some courage and say ..hey what are you doing this weekend ? OK..now you will have to see what he says in order to respond.......but in any case .... you will know one way or the other ... Do not be so afraid of getting hurt or rejected that you ruin your chances ..good luck

You're playing hard to get that's all. You should try to see what interests he has like sports, music or etc. and talk about them you never know you may find a common ground between the both of you.
