Yes, you do. But most of all, you deserve RESPECT, and obviously, he isn't giving it to you. You need to just end it and if he REALLY straightens up, then maybe you should give him another chance. But you need a break. you deserve better girl. Good Luck!

Why are you waiting for it to be his move to"just let you be"? Why can't you walk? Does it have to be him kicking you out of the relationship? NO!! You decide your life, not him. Be proactive and cut your losses. You sound like a great catch; a caring and loving young woman that a decent man would charish. Why are you waiting to be kicked to the curb?
Go back into circulation and make yourself seen so that your future husband, who'll love you forever and will honor you and see his unborn children when he looks into your eyes can find you. GO!!! Make a date with this guy and tell him, you hope that you guys can remain friends, but you think that both of you could benefit from meeting other people (he's already doing it, but now you're graciously announcing that you're not a doormat).
Give yourself a clean cut from him. You maybe alone for a few weeks, but it will be worth it when you find real love and respect that's reciprocated.
VALUE YOUR FUTURE and your self worth. No one can give you self worth but you. Good news is no one can take it away either. The only way to lose it, is to give it away.... You don't want that, trust a happily married woman who dated some frogf before marrying a prince in all senses of the word (I'd know if he wasn't by now. It's been 18 years and he still oohs and ahhhs over me and I'm not THAT special, but I am to him!!) Do it and do it soon. Mr. Geminig is waiting to meet you!! ;o)

Why have you stayed with him for nine months if he's already told you he's not ready for what you want? I'm sorry, but at this point, I'd have to say you brought it on yourself. I would say that both of you, him and you, deserve respect, and neither of you are able to give it to each other. He needs and deserves the respect of having space, you need and deserve the respect of having a commitment. It means you aren't right for each other. Put him behind you and move on.

He won't let you "be" because you keep helping him when he doesn't show you the respect you deserve. I suggest breaking it off with him as well. I would not consider him seeing other women as cheating, because he hasn't made a commitment to you. But if that's what you want and he doesn't, it's probably not a good match.

Ever heard the saying "Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?".
This guy has no reason to respect you or committ to you. He is getting the best of both worlds and you are letting him.
Stop letting him shower at your place, buying him things and giving him money until he commits to you, or he won't.
(and I am not calling you a cow, it is just a saying hun so no offense ok?)

Wow. This is NOT someone who wants a commitment and you need to get out of this relationship. He's using you for any and kinds of different reasons. When he needs you; you're there, when he doesn't he's out talking to to other women. It's rude, immature and disrespectful. Break all times with him and make it impossible for him to get ahold of you. If he knocks on your door and you're home, don't answer. If he calls you, don't answer. If he sees you in public, ignore him and leave that environment. If he has to ask why, simply tell him and then be done with it.

No, you don't deserve anything more.
If you let him string you along, you are getting exactly what you deserve.
