OK, I was at a Sweet 16 last night. This question is about this girl that was there. This is not her name, but just for the purpose of the question, let's call her Jessica. This girl goes to school with me, but I thought we didn't know each other. I only talked to her once, and that was about 5 months ago when I had to b/c it was for an assignment in religion class. So I get to the party, and when I see Jessica, who I barely knew, she yells out my name and says hi. Then she says she wants to dance with me later. I was surprised she knew me and wanted to dance. Later, she chased me down (literally), grabbed my hand, and led me to the dance floor. We grinded for 2 songs, and she really got into it, grinding her a*s hard against me, holding my hands, and I was holding her hips. When we finished she gave me a hug. On my way out, I saw her again, and she gave me one of those quick kisses on the cheek and a hug. So, does this girl like me, or am I just blowing this way out of proportion?

t keep getting better. But one of my best friends likes me, too. I didn't know how bad it was until he had me read one of his journal entires. He's in love with me and hates being around me and my guy.It's getting to the point where he's almost depressed because of me. I want to help, but I don't know how. I've hear "just be a friend", but I've tried only consoling him and it's not working very well. I've also heard "hook him up with someone else", but that's much easier said than done. I would really like some advice on what to do to help him. My friends usually come to me, so none of them can really help.

I am done with women. Seriously- I'm am SO sick of the heartbreak, the drama, all the crap that is associated with relationships. (And don't tell me to turn gay because 1: I'm not gay, so I wouldn't be interested anyways, and 2: I want to be done with romantic relationships, PERIOD. I want OUT. DONE.) Any advice on what I can focus on or do to distract myself from all of the beautiful girls I come across in day-to-day life?

After we broke up my ex said we would still be friends. He would still talk to me and hang out with me and our friends. But then he started to avoid me. It's gotten to the point where I'll walk up to our friends and he'll just turn his back on me. He won't even look at me. He dosn't talk to me at all. He won't go to any of the after school clubs we were both in before either, and won't tell his best friend why he decided to quit. We had a pretty mutual break up, he just didn't want to be with me anymore and I didn't plan on staying in a relationship where I wasn't wanted. I never did anything to hurt him. He has told me he dosn't love me anymore and that he never wants to be with me again over e-mails so I know he dosn't have feelings for me. So why can't he just be my friend? I'm not trying to get him back, but it makes things kind of weird when hes avoiding me and I don't want to lose a friend. Maybe I can fix it if I know why hes being like this. Any ideas?

My boyfriend is in the States, well he's an american and I'm eager to go there soon and live there for a couple of years before I bring him back to see my parents. Of course, I'm planning to study at the University there as well and that couple of years will be the numbers I'm in Uni.

But the problem is my parents are not letting me go. Yeah, I understand that they are worry about me living so far and I'm their only daughter, the more reason to worry. Plus money matters. It's kind of hard to stay apart from my boyfriend so far and for many months.

Do you think there is any way I can convince my parents to let me go over there? No, they don't know my boyfriend yet and it's hard to tell them that my living fees there will be cover by him..
I just want them to have no worries when I'm there..
