My boyfriend is in the States, well he's an american and I'm eager to go there soon and live there for a couple of years before I bring him back to see my parents. Of course, I'm planning to study at the University there as well and that couple of years will be the numbers I'm in Uni.

But the problem is my parents are not letting me go. Yeah, I understand that they are worry about me living so far and I'm their only daughter, the more reason to worry. Plus money matters. It's kind of hard to stay apart from my boyfriend so far and for many months.

Do you think there is any way I can convince my parents to let me go over there? No, they don't know my boyfriend yet and it's hard to tell them that my living fees there will be cover by him..
I just want them to have no worries when I'm there..

It depends on how old you are. If you are old enough to go to college, then you are an adult & can choose, but as a parent, I would NOT want my daughter going off to a whole other country to live with or be with a boyfriend I'd never met. I'd be very worried about her. I can understand their concern, and I'm glad you understand it too & are worried about them too.
